Holiday Inn Express & Suites Minneapolis SW - Shakopee

My husband and I stayed two nights here. We happened to stay on the same weekend as three wedding parties and receptions, so unless we got to breakfast early, there wasn't really anywhere to sit and a lot of the food was gone! But I'm sure that any other weekend would be normal. Everything else was perfect. The staff was really friendly and our room was very clean. It's not too far from the Minnesota Renaissance Faire and you won't get weird looks when you come back dressed in your medieval attire!

Very clean organized, great team service and customers are always first! Also very Kid friendly. I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Very clean and updated hotel. A good ways away from the city, but close to the race track. Isolated location without much heavy traffic. Plenty of restaurants within a couple of miles. GrubHub is not accessible from this area.

Service was great and room was very clean. Stayed in room 420 (not joking) with two queen beds​ and really liked that there was a bit more space and furniture than I'm used to in a hotel. The only thing I didn't like was that one of the parking lot lights was directly outside our window. Luckily the blinds were great quality and could block out everything. I really like waking up naturally to the sunrise but unfortunately we had to have the blinds 100% shut because having just a one inch crack was like having the face of god shining into our room at night. So because of that it was pitch black in our room in the morning. But that's a bit of a plus if you need to take a nap in the middle of the day. They should really get different parking lot lights. Ones that face away from the building

Stayed here for a wedding. Was a nice place, didn't really explore it much. Breakfast was pretty good with a decent selection.
