Mystic Lake Casino Hotel

I was taken to Mystic to celebrate my birthday for dinner. Love the food but the slots are tighter than national security at the airport according to my gambling buddies. I don’t play because I can’t afford it. My friends never win anything here ever anyway and I’d never take a chance with a nickel at this place because you will be out five cents.They seem to be taking the money to pay for new construction. So either way even if your lucky if you gamble there you lose. You won’t win here. Bingo is fun and affordable. It’s digital now and that can easily be tampered with as well. Just go for the food and the great amenities keep your money in your pocket. Gambling is not right anyway. Especially if it’s all rigged! Not saying that is the case because I’m not a specialist. This is just my opinion. There is nothing there that has ever given me the impression that you can win anything there Ever in your life!

Went for the buffet brunch. Was pleasantly surprised at the variety and the quality. Although it was a casino buffet the quality of everything was good. If you were to compare it to another "regular" buffet I'd rate it highly. The prime rib in particular was excellent. We will be going again. The only down note was they allow smoking in the casino which detracts from the otherwise good dining experience. Smoking was not allowed in the restaurant area and the smoke scrubbers were able to remove all odors there.

Stayed at their new Promenade Tower hotel. Nice furnishings and good size. No major complaints about the room or the service. The rest of the building and the conference room were also nice. All the staff was helpful and friendly. The food they served was great. Overall highly recommend this location.

Had the best time ever. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I was there for part of the New Year's Eve celebrations which included a dinner and a show. The dinner that was held in the convention area was probably the best dinner I have ever eaten in a hotel setting given I have gone to conventions at other hotels for over 20 years. I am looking forward to going back at the end of February for my husband's convention being held there. The convention center is an impressive area. The show was awesome, great seating, roomy seating and Buddy Guy well who can not love him.

Very nice theater with good seat room. I sat in the back and still had a great view. The buffet was also satisfying. Has a good mix of every different culture so you're bound to find something you like and the desserts were all amazing and was definitely the biggest selection. I didn't gamble but it's gambling so it's as good as it is anywhere when it comes to machines.
