Really good pastas and pizzas. I love the flavours, and textures in each bite. This place is hidden, but well worth the trip to find. The nice decor and friendly staff here creates a homey, yet classy feel. It was a shame I was in a hurry and couldn't really take the time to enjoy their menu more. Will have to come back next time to continue my flavour journey.
Great local Italian spot in the heart of kits. Easy to walk or bike to if you are on the West side. Indoor and outdoor dining. Very reasonably priced and good for all ages. This local spot is great for those wanted to have something a little more upscale for a family get together than the chain restaurants.
I’ve dined here for a few years now and I’ve always had a good experience and good food. The staff are very knowledgeable and nice, always great service. The food is also done very well, lots of flavours and great textures - wish you could taste the food through my photos, but they were all mouthwatering, especially the burrata. I highly recommend this spot for a date night or quick eat with friends and family, it’s a staple restaurant in the neighbourhood!
We had a mixed experience at Fiore Famiglia - the service was friendly, and some of the dishes were great. They tomato bruschetta was great, but the pistachio one wasn’t good. The pastas were all pretty good, but not anything special. Far better than places like Olive Garden, but not as good as the Osteria restaurants. The cheesecake was also really good. I may have gone with a 4, but it was a high price point so I expect a more consistent experience.
The Rosso pizza was wonderful - perfect thickness to the crust, just the right amount of sauce, decent combination of toppings and cooked for the perfect amount of time. The Chocolate Budino was also delicious. It had both great flavour, consistency and wasn’t overpoweringly sweet. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the restaurant itself was nice albeit on the smaller side. Food came out at a reasonable time given the quality of the food. Great for a date or if you’d like a slightly more formal setting with family or friends.
Wow exactly what a nice neighborhood Italian restaurant should be. Nice interior busy bustling service. Good wine selection. Fresh made pasta was amazing and a well balanced flavored pizza. Really enjoyed our meal.Food: 5/5
What a quaint restaurant. Loved the vibe and decor. I liked the coat hangers in the hallway. It was really warm. Upon entering, you could smell that familiar odour of old wood, of which many Vancouver buildings were constructed. Quite nostalgic. The place was clean and well-kept, including the 3 washrooms. The food was delicious. Lots of wine options. One thing that was strange was that our server had to keep coming back to advise us on the food. We had someone with us who was lactose intolerant, trying to avoid any cow by-product. Our server had to ask the kitchen about one thing, come back, tell us that wouldn’t work and ask us if we were ok with the alternative option. This went back and forth at least 4 times. It was a lot of “excuse me, the kitchen said this or that.” It would have been nice if there was clarity and communication between the kitchen and server for just one or two interruptions for modifications. That said, she was kind and genuinely tried to help get the best flavoured meal for our friend. I also appreciated the free parking. I would visit here again for sure.
One of the best Italian restaurants I have tried this year! Love the meatball and duck breast! Everything is so good! Really special and different taste than other Italian restaurants! Well balanced and presented! Very intimate setting and beautiful interior. Service is friendly and quick. Price is reasonable. Even my 20-month old daughter enjoyed the food very much! Stopped by on a rainy day and was immediately welcomed by the warmth and good energy. The service was attentive and swift, and the food - delicious! Will definitely be coming back!
Had an excellent dinner, cocktails and wine here. The service was the best I have had in a restaurant in quite some time. The food was fresh and very tasty - thoughtful flavour combinations. We only wish we had left room for dessert! We will definitely be back.
