Best. Food. Ever. I’m so glad to have found this gem, they have amazing pasta and gelato. My favourite dish so far is their gnocchi with pesto sauce. I would also recommend their garlic bread on the side only $1.50 for two pieces - a steal!. Beats Jo’s Italian and Nook ~easily~.
Cute, little hidden gem tucked away on Vine St, just off Broadway, serving fresh hand made pasta. You order at the counter before taking your seat and they bring you the food when it’s ready. You pick the pasta you want, as well as the sauce and any add-ons. Seating available inside or on the patio. Service was friendly and surprisingly quick. We had the gnocchi with porcini and cream sauce and the meat ravioli with bolognese sauce and meatballs. The portions initially looked small but fills you up nicely. They also sell a few baked goods, ice-cream, soda and dried pasta / bottled sauces. Would definitely come back here.
This was our first visit to Casereccio. You order at the counter then sit down. Very small so not much seating. There are a few tables outside too. Ordered the bolognese ragu with spaghetti, carbonara with fusilli, porcini cream with campanelle and of course some gelato. Food and dessert were all delicious!! I recommend a visit if you’re looking for an authentic Italian eatery.
Lovely and delicious, great sauce, pasta and gelato. We tried the Ragu and San Marzano tomatoes sauce, it was not too sweet which means less or no sugar, and good depth. We are from out of town so we were so happy to have visited and tried this gem.
We came here for our wedding anniversary lunch. Did not disappoint!! Here has the best pasta I’ve ever had! So fresh so creamy so good! Didn’t get to try gelato as we were so full but next time definitely will have it! Staffs are very very friendly. I asked if I can use the changing table in the washroom, they even offered to sanitize for us first Will be back for sure. It’s now one of my favourite spots in Vancouver
We had the beef ragu lunch special, as well as pesto verde spaghetti with added chicken. Good portions, food was steaming hot and fresh, pasta was yummy. Prices are a little on the high side but we know we are supporting a small local business. Service was excellent and everyone was friendly!
I was in heaven with the first bite of my linguine and porcini mushroom cream sauce. Service is stellar. You’ll feel like you are in Italy. do not miss out. My friend had rigatoni in a to-die-for tomato sauce with pork cheeks and mushroom. The tiramisu we ordered was the grand finale.
Been to Casereccio a few times, and their quality of food and service is amazing. Delicious menu options and cool ambience. It has now become my favourite Italian restaurant hands down. Their croissants are the best. It is a go-to restaurant for the best homemade Italian food. The restaurant owner Maria attends to every occupied table and ensures that her customers are satisfied with their orders. Now, this is what I call going above and beyond to provide the best for her customers.
Hands down the BEST pasta I’ve ever had in my life! Taste is amazing and proportions are perfect, you really can’t go wrong with your order because all their options are heavenly. Maria and the staff are warm and very welcoming as well! Thank you Casereccio, for the pasta, gelato and more
This place is great! It reminds me of home cooking. I came twice for ‘Tasting Plates’ and both times I enjoyed the food. It has a cafe vibe with the cash register and fridges, but regardless has a nice cozy atmosphere.
