Festival Café

The fried chicken was moist and juicy with a thin, crispy, melt-in-your-mouth batter and the waffle was soft and fluffy - a fan-taste-ic first chicken and waffles experience. Our supper was so good that we went back after the ticat game to try the funnel cakes and Dole fruit. Everything was amazing and the staff was super friendly - will definitely be back again!

Excellent customer service and very clean restaurant. Loads of varieties of yummy dessert and food. We ordered the strawberry funnel cake and mixed berry funnel cake. Absolutely delicious and will go back to try different items again. Fun carnival food without going to a carnival.

Wow these were delicious! The Jumbo ears are kind of like a beaver tail but better and they are huge! Can’t go wrong with a slushy and the funnel cake was huge also! They put the berries and ice cream in side dishes for us to take home and everything help up awesome. It would be perfect if maybe they added a bit more of the cream cheese frosting like they did the Nutella! We will definitely be going again to try new things soon!

One of our favourite spots! It's a family run business and it shows in every regard. It's festival type food... but there is quality in every bite. The burgers are insanely good, I highly recommend. The chicken is really good too. But the desserts... omg. Wild and delicious. Go... and enjoy.

I was really looking forward to trying this place, inside decor nice, customer service also good. Food very very pricy for quality and taste. Always support local, I dont care if food is pricy if its good, i ordered 10 piece mixed bucket of chicken which includes dark and white meat 2 breasts amd the rest all dark. My partner tried the breast, very salty and hard, not fresh and juicy. Tasted like couple days old chicken, lacking flavour and very bland. $50.00 for 10 Pieces of fried chicken with no taste. Sorry bery upset with myself as i couldve got Bab korean chicken for half price and tastes magnificant for half the price. fummel cake to greasy for my daughter. Sorry for the 1 star, but family didnt enjoy it at all. Slaw and potato salad just good, nothing special, chicken to salty and DRY. All the best, and wish you good luck as maybe it was your one off day.

Trying some Hamilton locations while I'm up there for work. This was a nice treat compared to the normal burgers from Harvey's etc. The cashier was friendly and I guess I looked young so she offered the juice boxes as well. Parking was good, actual dedicated lol. I ordered a double patty and couldn't finish it. Festival sauce and fries were amazing, burger was juicy. Would like to come back for the funnel cakes if I'm ever back in town

Yum! This place is awesome. Great selection of festival type foods. We had a funnel cake with Strawberries and ice cream. I can't wait to go back and try more!

My son and I stopped by from a Ti-Cats game to grab a funnel cake. I was meaning to visit this place for some time as I haven’t had a funnel cake for years. I was very glad it was still open late. The place is nice and clean. The funnel cake was very good. Very tasty and crunchy even after I took it home. It was way better than funnel cakes I had so far from Canada’s Wonderland and other fairs. Had a very nice chat with the owner as she even offered a free juice box for my son. Highly recommend this joint if you’re craving for any carnival treats. Would definitely come back with the whole family and try their chicken and waffles. One of Hamilton’s best new foodie spot!

A friend was craving for some ICEE, It was a nice night out and went for a 50 mins. walk to Festival Cafe. Original ICEE machine and the flavor tasted the same from back in the days. Missing the carnival food they have it. The owner is super friendly, the place is clean and I recommend it.

Food is surprisingly amazing. Not sure what I expected. Burgers are great. The funnel cakes are huge and very tasteful. This place won't disappoint. I've been here a few times. Now if they can only find a way to pack fewer calories into those funnel cakes.Food: 5/5
