I ordered delivery on Christmas Day as is our tradition. I thought I would try a new place. I was very disappointed. Nothing tasted good or cooked properly, their signature dish was so hard it was difficult to differentiate it from the plastic cutlery. I can understand being busy, but quality should not suffer because of that! Maybe it always tastes like that, I’ll never know. Good luck.
Food is quite good here, I always go for the Szechuan Chicken. It's a little pricey though and the delivery fees are absurd. I live only a threeish blocks away and the delivery fee was $6.00 when I made my order online. When the delivery driver came to my door, the delivery fee was changed to a whopping $8.00 for a 1 item delivery under 2 minutes away. Dine in or pick up would be better. Would have given at least 3 stars but the delivery fee change at the door dropped it to a 2. There is room to improve overall, and like I said food is delicious.
So thankful that our neighborhood has the best Chinese restaurant in Calgary. Highly recommend the seafood fried rice, ginger beef, sweet and sour pork, salt and pepper squid, egg rolls and dumplings!
Simply the best! When I get takeout Hot and Sour Soup and I' not going to eat all of it...they advise me to get rid of the styrofoam and put it in another household container. When I want extra order of dumplings for tomorrow, they prepare them so I just have to pan fry them....w butter. Absolute best Ginger Beef, Dumplings and Hot and Sour soup in the city!
The food tasted amazing! 10 out of 10 highly recommend! Service is very good on the phone. wait time was reasonable!
Ordered 4 items plus delivery close by, 83 bucks. For that kind of price point, expect great food. Salt and pepper squid, very light on the salt and pepper seasoning but good. Dry spare ribs, spare on the meat and heavy on the batter. I’dnot order those again. Broccoli and beef in black bean sauce, sauce was watery, beef was light, broccoli was excellent. Liked it despite the issues. Shrimp fried rice was very good. Pretty hard to screw up fried rice. Meat spring roles, had no meat. Bummer. I’d consider ordering again but I’d be giving specific instructions to get it right.
More like Vegetable Taste of China. We ordered a beef dish and it ended up being mostly vegetables. This is Canada, we're allowed to sell meat products here, thank you. This happened last time we went here too. ‍
Just ordered the special fried rice and literally it came with 2 shrimps and a few tiny pieces of pork… for the price I would’ve expected at least 10 shrimps!! Taste was ok but so poorly in meat and shrimp! Not coming back!
Got through skip the dish. The rice was odd, like they cooked our sweet and sour and then cooked the rice in the same wok. The noodles was super salty, sweet and sour chicken was ok. The best thing was the egg foo young but a bit salty.
I was very disappointed!! Everything was oily and under flavored! Sadly we used to love them.Food: 1/5
