Family Matters Medical Centre

Long story short but the last time I had to deal with the receptionist over the phone really did it for me. Completely rude and basically called me a liar. No empathy for others or passion for her job and she would be doing the clinic a favour and quit. Any time I call, there are issues with the staff being either inept or rude over the phone. The only reason I go back is because I do like the doctor I see.

I really like my doctor. What I do not like is everytime I book an appointment, I never see my dr at my appt time. Why even book regular patients if your just going to take walk ins first. Regular patients should take priority. Walk ins should have to wait! Update: this has got much better, I no longer wait, and get to see my dr on time now. Dr. Gerges is a great doctor and I'm happy I found her 5 years ago.

Dr gerges is a great dr she takes her time with me and makes me feel very comfortable i would recommend her she took the time to make calls to me during covid it was greatly appreciated

Dr. Moosa is incredible! We have our entire family at this clinic. We couldn't be happier. She is always on time, calls to follow up on medical issues, super friendly and amazing bed side manner. I would highly recommend her!

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Shayani Majd. She didn't record my medical information and prescribed me a medication I couldn't have. Luckily I doubled checked with my pharmacist who caught the mistake. I had to have another appt with the Dr just to get a different rx, at which point she said I never told her that information. I told her exactly what our conversation was, and remembered it clearly due to the off putting response she had when I told her.

Great, friendly staff and Drs. Waiting room is bright and welcoming. I also like that they are on medimap.ca so that you can see how long of a wait time you have if you need a walk in.

Dr. Gerges is great! Good bedside manner and a real drive to find the root of the issue. I'm very lucky to have found her

They don't answer the phone or pick up and hang up on you. You call and call to no avail.

I would never recommend anyone goes here. They refuse to give their patient their own medical records without a $40 fee.

Great staff. Please don't forget your appointment, or you will be charged a missed appointment fee.
