Great campground, tucked away off of Highway 26. All sites are within a few hundred feet of the river, and some backup directly to a canal. We scored a great site on the SE side of the campground that offered lots of privacy and pull-through access for our truck and pop-up camper. The camp hosts, Don and his wife, were also very hospitable. Restrooms / water access are very accessible and plentiful. Will be returning later this season!

Beautiful campsites. More secluded and sparated from other sites by greenery. Many sites, like mine have river access right in camp. The Falls Creek Falls @ the Snake River (IDAHO) are so cool. They fall opposite to the flow of the river and create pools within them for ambitious bathers. There are hiking and driving trails close by and excellent icecream and a convenience store just a few miles down the canyon. I would give it 5 stars if this campground had electrical hookups, but then it would also cost more than $12 a night. :)

Cheap and valuable. Mosquito repellent is a must

Idaho's best kept secret. Camping here is a blast! Camp hosts are a mixed bag though. Last year, the guy was cool and stayed out out of our hair. Two years ago, another host stalked us while we went around fishing, suspecting that we have been camping in the large group reserved area to the southeast. Probably the only thing that sucks is that the little creeks around here have nothing but cutthroat, which are illegal to keep unless they are like 15 inches long... good luck with that.
