Blowout Campground

First come first serve,....17$ a night no hook up and some hook ups, some back in and some pull through. Fires allowed, a day use area just below with a boat ramp but water is so low you can't use it at all. You can hear traffic at times other than that pretty quiet. Nice flat spots qith sand plots for tents too. Bathrooms...NO showers.

Great campground 4 or 5 gorgeous spots facing the lake. Easy access to the beach and boat ramp. My only complaint it the website shows 24 a night for a double and we were charged 34 not sure if that just needs updated, or it was a busy weekend rate. My other complaint is no one leashes their dogs in the campground. I dont mind a well behaved dog but we ran into quite a few that were not well behaved and roamed at will. At least two that were aggressive. This is an owner responsibility and a respect thing I really wish people would follow. Overall though we had a great time and we will definitely be back.

This is a tidy, comfortable, and very pleasant basic campground. Blowout offers one of the best combinations of access, facilities, and privacy among the Palisades Reservoir campgrounds. The hosts are fantastic and keep the place in top shape, including the most immaculate campground pit toilets I've used. The only drawback of the campground is its location near the highway, but traffic quiets down substantially during quiet hours. I would recommend this place.

A solid campground on a lake. Very nice hosts.

Great camp hosts, clean bathrooms, camp sites are beautiful. Boat launch down the hill.

The camp hosts keep this camp ground immaculate! They're super friendly, yet make sure everyone follows the rules, such as turning off music and generators after 10pm. I wish you could reserve spaces, but of course, then their would never be a chance of getting one. Love to stay here when we are boating.
