We had a great stay at Rockin' M Ranch, I highly recommend it. My family of 5 very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin was comfortable, very nice and well kept. The beds were comfortable and my kids loved sleeping in the loft. The area is peaceful and beautiful, there is some very minor road noise from Hwy 89 but the property is set back just on the banks of the salt river and is in a great location. The grounds are well kept. We started our stay with a 3 hour horse ride up into the mountains, Max our cowboy was fantastic, great with the kids. My kids are old enough that they did not want to be led by a rope around a pin, this is a real ride, up and down mountains, through meadows and trees, it was a blast. The horses were gentle, my 10 year old did great and my 13 and 16 year old loved every min. We did a full day fishing trip with Rob, the conditions were not great due to the large amount of snow runoff and poor water clarity but Rob worked hard for us and we caught fish all day, my son caught the largest cutthroat trout he has ever caught. Great memories and a great place to stay. I hope that we can make our way back.

Great day of horse back riding. Dale was our guide. Beautiful way to spend an afternoon with the family. Horses were well behaved and cared for. Recommended even for novices.

I don't normally leave reviews, but I do not hesitate when I have an exceptionally poor or an outstanding experience. My wife and I stayed here with some friends during our trip to Jackson Hole over Labor Day weekend, 2016. Yes, the cabins were lovely, well kept, and neat with comfortable beds and nice amenities. However, their customer service skills need A LOT of improvement. When we made the reservation, we were told the cabin would accommodate 7 people, but not 8. They offered an additional smaller cabin, which we declined and booked a cheap motel in Alpine for the last couple in our group, (we were all splitting the cost of the cabin between couples and the cost of the additional cabin exceeded the last couple's budget). When we arrived we asked if this couple could spent a few hours there at the cabin with us while we unpacked our gear. Their response was "absolutely not" and informed us that if they remained on the property they would revoke our reservation. Although the beds were comfortable, this experience not only brought some to tears, it nearly ruined our entire weekend. This was by far the worst experience we have ever had while travelling. Next time when we come through here we will stay at the Three Rivers Motel in Alpine. They are about 15 minutes away, less expensive, and much more welcoming to motorcyclists than Rockin' M Ranch. Update: While booking another trip in Wyoming this week, I came across this review and noticed that the owner had responded to my review. If it wasn't already obvious, we were a group of 8 adults. We had 5 vehicles, 4 motorcycles and 1 car. If you do stay here, plan on driving on a partially muddy road with lots of loose gravel.

So wonderful! 2 hour horseback riding through the rolling hills and rivers of Wyoming and Idaho. Dale was a fantastic guide, and great with the kids 😊 if you're in the Yellowstone/Grand Teton area, I HIGHLY recommend!
