Evergreen Restaurant

I've been coming here for many years (since it was Evergreen many years ago), but I have not visited the place in the last 5 or 6 years. Invited a friend to have dinner there because it's is close to his home. To my surprised, it is bigger, modern decor and great ambience including staffs. I found out it was renovated 2 years ago. Food is excellent, not greasy and ample serving (keep it that way). Only wish the small soup selections has more variety instead of the typical Chinese restaurants "hot and sour, egg drop and wonton soup". I was just in Asia and there are abundant soups that can be introduce in this country as well as appetizers.

My family and I really like this establishment. Waiters and waitresses are friendly. Owners are really nice and the food is delicious. We love the salt and pepper smelts and orange chicken. No one else in Chinatown can prepare it as good as Evergreen!

Great cafe. so many unique options for breakfast and brunch. The chicken fried steak gravy was AMAZING. They can get super busy but that does not show on the the staff's faces. You can tell they all work as a team. Will definitely be back.

The food is really good, definitely best Chinese restaurant in Ann Arbor. The space is also very clean and pleasant! I have always enjoyed going there!

The best Chinese food in town, period. Evergreen got all sorts of Chinese food to select from, and most of them are authentic and tasty. If you are not sure, simply try the Kong Bao chicken and you will notice the difference. The place is also spacious and furnished nicely, which makes it a decent place for dinner party. Five star!
