Logan is the result of our three owners' desire to establish in Ann Arbor an elegant, contemporary restaurant based on Chef Thad Gillies' interpretation of "New American" cuisine.

Story

We describe our style of food as "New American Cuisine", but what does that really mean? For us, it begins with exploiting time-honored kitchen techniques from French cooking, but applying them to the more far-flung culinary influences of contemporary America.

Among these influences are Latin America, Europe, and many Asian cultures. We love to use traditional ingredients to create bold flavors, but we also strive for refinement and elegance.

Certainly one of Ann Arbor’s premier restaurants, Logan offers a wide selection of expertly crafted entrees with high quality service. In all of my visits, I’ve consistently received small sample dishes from the chef as a thank you for stopping in. The wait staff is very pleasant and helpful, as well. My personal recommendation is the bourbon tenderloin, though the menu has a wide variety of options. The prices are a little higher than your average Ann Arbor restaurant, but can be attributed to high quality ingredients. Logan is a fabulous restaurant for dates, business meals or parent dinners.

The food and drinks were delicious. The waitress was amazing as well! The only downside is that they seated us right next to the window and people were staring at us while we were eating. That felt strange and if I ever return I'll ask to be away from the window.

Good, but a little pricey given other options in the area. You will be able to find a table here on short notice vs a long wait, bring the trade-off.

Really tasty. Don't expect to go for quick meal. Go when you want to take your time; they are not in a rush and don't want you too either.

Went for our anniversary dinner and under unforseen circumstances the staff went above and beyond for us. Great people and amazing food! Don't hesitate to go here for dinner!
