This is my birthday meal for the last 10+ years, they have a great deal on your birthday.   I really enjoy the Lobster and the escargot!!  Also the coconut cream pie for dessert is awesome.   I always get great service here and the food is very consistent.   Great place to eat when you are not in a hurry.  PEACE

6 of us went here for my Mom’s birthday. The waiter we had was in training (David, I think) I felt bad for him because 3 of us were gluten free with allergies and we asked quite a few questions (because the menu isn’t labeled, you go off of what the servers tell you) the other waiter helping him (Travis) was incredibly knowledgeable though and we got everything figured out and ordered. We got the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer and instead of deep frying them like it says they do on the menu, the waiter was accommodating to all of us and had the dish pan fried. I had the paella and it was delicious! It was a little different than traditional paella, but still very good! There was LOTS of seafood and meat in it! 
The only downfall is that we were charged for a shrimp cocktail and didn’t receive it, My Dad called and got it taken care of with no issue though. We tried to be understanding of this accident, since our waiter was new and very obviously still learning the computer system. My whole family really enjoyed their meals and we also enjoyed the fact that the wait staff had a sense of humor, but remained professional. It was a great experience!

This was my 'go-to' restaurant for several years.  I now only eat here when someone else suggests and I find that Real Seafood disappoints every time.  The fish is typically over-cooked for my taste and the menu often has items that sound interesting but never live-up to the description - bland.  The bread, which can be spectacular, is at times under cooked or, more often, over cooked.  Either way, it is not good and not reliable.  The red skin potatoes that came with my sister's birthday dinner were positively awful - shriveled and cooked until they were charred hard  chunks that were impossible to eat even if it had been possible to get past the visual and taste. While one server in the last few years was spectacular, most seem indifferent to the experience of the diner.  If you want to ensure your restaurant choice will deliver and justify the cost, many better choices are available.

We were celebrating a very important family event in Ann Arbor. With the amazing choices this lovely city possesses for restaurants, we decided on Real Seafood Company.
We were not disappointed. The staff was extremely friendly and our server, Teri, was personable, efficient, professional and one of the best we have ever encountered. Thank you, Teri. The food could not have been better. Insanely delicious.  Fresh! Beautifully plated! Mouth watering!
Also, we loved the atmosphere at Real Seafood.  Thank you to Teri, the Chef, management and staff.  You made our family event quite memorable.

We had lunch on a Monday & our waiter took his time and answered all of our questions nicely.  The meal started off with  fresh bread. The stuffed flounder was very good, I  paid a $1.95 extra for the sweet potato slices which had a sweet crispy Edge that made it extra delicious & the meal came with good creamy coleslaw.  My friend had the jumbo shrimp and said they were very good with the rice pilaf and coleslaw.
Would definitely go back.
