What a beautiful track and field. I've come here at various hours and I'm able to get my training done with no issues. I believe the lights are on until 10pm if you're coming here in the evening. On Nov. 24, I came in for a track workout in the morning before work at 630am. Not all of the lights were on but enough to see where I was running. FYI, the track is 580m. There's also an optional and very small incline and decline just before the back stretch. Great atmosphere.
This location is ideal for soccer enthusiasts, offering a great place to play. However, the parking situation can be a drawback as paid parking is required, unless you're willing to park a bit further away. Overall, it's a solid spot for soccer but the parking situation may inconvenience some.
Nice turf fields in the heart of east Vancouver. Really modern. Well lit and covered benches and cheap parking. Great use of space and well thought out with a playground, basketball court and dirt bike track, table tennis , beach volleyball and par core !
Great fields, well lit, nice track around, basketball court, nice playground, small bike track and washroom available but washroom may be closed at night. Expensive parking lot for a public space like that. Spotted rats on the North side of the park. Would give 5 if parking was cheaper and/or a concession kiosk was available.
Empire field is a great place to workout 9 laps around the track is 5km
