I have always enjoyed Whitecaps games. They have great food. They have affordable tickets. If you’re not a soccer person, come to one of these games, and it will change your experience forever.nnWatching up close live is amazing. If the weather is nice they even open up the dome. The big screen is wonderful. It helps you navigate to see what’s going on farther on the other side of the field. Definitely take advantage of the 50/50 draw. 50% of the proceeds go to charity and the rest for a raffle to win the other amount.nnThe food concessions have a wide variety of food and drinks. You can never go wrong with the messy hotdogs and nachos. They are so delicious. Just make sure you get extra napkins and a fork. It’s great family friendly entertainment. Perfect for a group night out. I’m surprised after all these years I’ve never written a review. Our last boys night out we had a great night, even though we lost against Minnesota. Never had front row seats ever and let me tell ya, incredible view. It was so exciting to sit right at the front. I highly recommend everyone to sit up front at least once in their lifetime.nnKey things to remember.nIf you don’t like lineups exiting the arena, leave a few minutes earlier.
Electric Atmosphere at BC Place!nnBC Place Stadium hosted an incredible event, with an electric atmosphere and top-notch facilities. Seating was comfortable, and concessions offered a range of options. However, sound quality could improve, and navigation signs were occasionally confusing. Still, a great venue.
Was here for the Supercross races. The venue has everything you need, except knowledgeable staff. We had two people with our party with disabilities. One on crutches, who was in a great deal of pain and one with a cane. Both unable to ambulate easily. The seats on the map were chosen for their ease and closeness to the front doors. However, the map on the site was upside down! Our party had to walk the entire distance to the opposite side of the building, not to mention that not one staff member suggested the elevator to get down to the floor we were headed to. Instead, we had to walk down a long ramp. No carts or wheelchairs were available to help either of our party. If there were, nobody suggested it. When we left, we asked for an easier route back to the front. A staff member suggested the elevator, and when we did get into the elevator, the staff member pushed the button ummmm, every one of us could push an elevator button button. Thank you. Wth? didn't have a clue how to get us to the right floor or to the other side of the building. We tried every floor and ended up just getting out and asking someone at the exit, but they didn't know how to get us to the right floor either. By then, the person in our party on crutches was so sore and tired we just exited, and the two of them caught a cab to the hotel despite it being literally a block from the front of the building. What a mess!nDespite the mess, the event was epic and fun. However, the announcers were so loud, and it echoed so badly that it distorted their voices, and we could not understand a word they were saying. Seats were at least somewhat padded, The aisles where you sit were so tight to the row in front of you that even when we stood up to allow other event goers to pass to the stairs, you were rubbed up against as they passed. You have to precariously balance as you're pressed up against your seat as people go by.nThis stadium was built to squish as many people as possible into the space as uncomfortably as possible. Not fun.nI will avoid going to any event here in the future.
I have flown down to Vancouver for the Rugby 7's tournament 2 years in a row. We sit in the club seats and have a blast all weekend. The food and drink options are great and the views are incredible. Highly recommend!
It was my first time at BC Place, the stadium is nice and the big screen is easy to see. We were lucky to have fantastic seats to watch the Whitecaps win Canadian Nationals!!! Nice location downtown!
