El Caporal Mexican Restaurant

We had a late family get-together on a Sunday night with some guests visiting from out of state. I was pleased to see that El Caporal was open past 7 o’clock whereas some of our other choices had closed up for the night.nnWe had a reasonable wait time for our food and the prices were great. Our waitress was sweet and friendly and she looked after our dining needs expertly.nnThe dining room was not crowded at this hour and it was clean and inviting. The atmosphere seemed cozy and relaxing. I enjoyed the shrimp enchilada and I highly recommend it.nnThanks El Caporal for a delightful evening!

Great food! Our server Lester was amazing, the music was good and all around this was a great experience. The drinks were fantastic also. Definitely going to have to visit more.

My wife and I really enjoyed eating here. There was no wait to be seated and this was at about 6 p.m., the service was amazing, and the food was delicious. Everything was prompt and the quality of the food rivaled my wife’s favorite Mexican place in Tri-Cities, Washington. Would recommend!

Amazing food! Full of flavor, the drinks were amazing the service was great I will definitely be visiting again! Save room for dessert the fried ice cream and the churros are definitely something you want to have!

I liked the atmosphere and the staff was very friendly and attentive. My steak fajita came out hot and tasted great. They gave me a little desert after my meal and chips with what tasted like homemade salsa before my meal all free of charge.nI would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for more authentic Mexican food in the area. It doesn’t top the places back at home in Tahoe, but it comes close.
