Ekkip boutique sport

Bought a $$$ bike, got a flat tire within 20m of riding it. Then minimum 1 week wait time to repair it. Note: Quality of tires of a Trek Dual Sport 2 bike is poor. The piece of glass that pierced it was smaller than a finger nail. Pretty sure even a Walmart bike would have done better. ----------------------------------------- "Guys at the shop" showed me a full schedule and told me they'll have time maybe next weekend.

Brought my ice skates for a sharpening. Was told to leave the skate there and come back to pick them up. Really? Won't do 1 hour of back and forth driving for a skate sharpening. Would have waited a bit, but that was not an option. But the worse, I found out the sharpening guy was on site but busy setting up bikes. I told the lady clerk it doesn't make sense to leave the skate and come back, too long. She didn't care, told me the guy is too busy. I said in frustration that I won't come back again, she said "I am fine with that". What kind of customer service and response is this? I bought my hockey stuff there before... not planning to go back now with that type of attitude. So if you plan to go, I guess you better call before to see if they have the time to sharpen your skates. It makes no sense to me, you should simply not offer the service if you need to turn people around.

Very clean store with a very good selection of sporting goods. Purchased a Bern Brentwood 2.0 bike helmet and a badminton racket. Staff is helpful and knowledgable.... bilingual :-

I was lucky enough to find a bike on line which I liked - I called to store directly and they had one left - very friendly service over the phone. They called me the next day to pick it up. Once at the store received more friendly and informative service. A great experience and highly recommended. Merci encore une fois Ekkip et Samuel!!

We bought 2 GIANT bikes and accessories. We were serviced by Benoît. He gave us magnificent customer service and expert advice on to which types of bikes to buy. However, when one of my panniers broke after only a week, I was serviced by another guy who had a very bad attitude and was doubting my claim and suggesting that I should contact the manufacturer. Luckily the manager stepped in and replaced the pannier for a new-one without hesitation. I guess the service you get here depends on how lucky you are with the sales person servicing you. Hopefully you will have Benoît.

Husband's bike was stolen. Were only able to prove its value to the insurer and get the money back because Ekkip boutique had the sales record in their system after like 8-9 years after the purchase.

Overpriced products and an unreliable skate sharpening service make what could be a great local sports store bad. Stay away. Not worth your time.
