Story

We have been serving Canada’s best hotdogs, Hamburgers, French fries and real ice cream for over 85 years. For 4 generations we have been proud to serve our community by providing a dining experience in a clean and pleasant environment that emphasizes exceptional personal service, quality food, a diverse selection, and great value but most importantly a great atmosphere that has not changed over the decades.

Our roots go back to 1926 when Mable Easterbrook first opened our store as a tea house. In 1930 she began selling hotdogs and has taken off from there. Since 1930 we have sold over 1600 miles of hotdogs and over 1 million pounds of ice cream! Come check us out all year to see what we have to offer!

Stopped at Easterbrook’s for lunch to check it out. We had a cheeseburger and onion rings, wonder dog with fries and gravy, the belly buster dog with fries and gravy. Everything is separately priced with adds up. The hot dog was long but the dog size does not compare to the Costco dog. Kinda disappointed they didn’t have melted cheese and used shredded cheese. The gravy was quite salty, fries were good and fresh. Burger was small , patty was small and greyish. Spent $37.00 on 2 dogs,2fries, 2 gravies, 1 cheeseburger with onion rings and 3 pops. All in all there was nothing I would specially go back for.
I have been going to Easterbrook’s since I was a kid with my family, and now get to share that with my own family. It’s a must try for the Burlington area. Delicious hot dogs, burgers, fries, rings, milkshakes and ice cream. During COVID they were order out, but they have since opened up the small area inside again to enjoy. They also have picnic tables in the back, to enjoy outside. If going on the weekend, be mindful that it gets really busy and will be a lineup out front, but it’s always worth the wait
Great place, So much history, delicious food. I can see why this place has been open for this long. I remember being here 12 years ago. I am so happy that have found this amazing place again. And I saved it in my Google map so I won’t forget where it is again, thank you so much for the amazing service and the delicious food spot on on everything. I definitely recommend.110%
This place is really highly rated and is clearly famous. Maybe it's just that it's the off season and so I found it just okay. The food was okay but nothing spectacular. The service was good and the staff were great. The quaint atmosphere is closer to dirty and unkept at this point. Dried towels under the vent ducts that probably soak up moisture and are undoubtedly mouldy. There is so much graffiti that it's not charming - it comes across as run down. A good clean and some paint and some higher standards would vindicate this place. It needs work.
A piece of Hamilton history. The foot long hotdogs are what you go for. They're so delicious. I don't know why I thought the fries use to be fresh cut but they weren't on this visit. They came out cool to the touch. I assume because they had been sitting out and premade in large batches which is why they tasted like leftover fries. I was also surprised to only get 6 onion rings for the price I paid. The small one ice cream scoop was MASSIVE and very generous!! Customer service was nothing but friendly and patient. The lineup getting food moved quickly. We would definitely go back and give it another go.
Stopped here after an afternoon at RBG. We ordered a hot dog and milkshake and both were super tasty. Their hotdogs are definitely big! The menu is expansive with unique flavour options/toppings for hot dogs. They also offer sausages & hamburgers plus fries, onion rings etc. The milkshakes are made with real ice cream so they are yummy. The decor is quite interesting, it's all business cards along the walls and ceiling. Prices are great for what you get. Definitely recommend trying it out!
So …… seen a review on this place a while back and been trying to get here for just as long and MAN it didn’t disappoint!!!! We ordered. All foot long dogs n fries. Taco / Plain /chilli . Amazing . Afterwards ice cream and a milkshake! Line ups the whole time , but you can tell they’ve been doin this for a while crushed the line out the door several times while we ate…. Just go here .
After going to Cootes Paradise to feed the birds we went there to feed ourselves. My first time there. I had the Tex Arcana which is a chili and cheese dog. It was pretty good. Needed a little salt but overall it was good. My fiancée got the Wonder Dog. She enjoyed it but would have liked the onions sliced and not diced. I had a bite and it was yummy. We got a poutine to split. Fries were good. The gravy was thick and dark brown with mixed cheese. The gravy reminded me of packaged gravy a bit but it wasn't terrible. Would definitely go back.
Good fast spot. I enjoyed their hot dog the most. The burgers, fries and nuggets wasn’t anything special in particular so next time I would just order their hot dogs and sausages.
Have not been here in years. It was just as good as always! Enjoyed the hot dogs immensely, buns were fresh, fries and onion rings were hot and delicious. Sat outside at a picnic table and it was a great lunch!
