Such a surprise on what the place looks like inside compare to the outside. Have lived in Aldershot for 8 years and passed by the restaurant almost everyday but never ever thought of trying it out because how it looks from outside. Service was exceptional, steaks were grilled to perfection. Will definitely come back.
I have been a few times over the years with a friend that her and her family dine there often.nShe has taken a few friends each time to celebrate her birthday.nThe food is amazing.nThe staff, who have worked there for years or decades, dropped by the table to wish my friend a happy birthday. Our waiter, Patrick, is always fantastic.nThis is my favourite restaurant by far.
This was my first time at Lord Nelson’s on Valentines Day and it was an amazing experience. our server was attentive and professional and the owners are wonderful people. On top of the amazing hospitality the food was incredible. I had the Wagyu steak, Caesar salad and the calamari and I highly recommend all three. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection and was probably the best steak i've ever had. People told me prior to going that this a “hidden gem” and that’s exactly what it was. Will definitely be back at Lord Nelson’s.
I enjoyed a great meal with friends at the Lord Nelson. The food was delicious and the service is second to none.
Dinner was very good, but not exceptional. Service was fine, but not particularly attentive. Given that I could have easily had two complete dinners at the Keg for what I paid here for one basic entree, I'm not sure I got good value for my money. In all fairness though, I did enjoy my meal very much.
