Tom's Place

Rainy day gals date. KATE made our lunch date superb. Fire was warm and ambiance was awesome. Food, and drinks were delicious. I highly recommend going to see Kate at Tom’s Place. You will not be disappointed fire is a real wood fire not electric or propane. Soooo nice on a damp cool Winter day

Again, very rare i give 5 stars but Tom's place deserves it. Hard to describe this place but its very cozy unlike any place you will have been in. All arm chairs, booths with a roaring fire place, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable prices and good food. If i might recommend a good red wine, it's this one attached JP Chenet. I had a glass. It's smooth as butter. Ask staff for it as I don't think its on the menu yet but the waitress we had recommended it and said it was new. It's exceptional.

What a cozy, cute, warm place to have a few drinks! Absolutely loved our experience here at Tom’s Place, even super busy Bruce kept a smile on his face the whole time and provided excellent customer service. Bruce, you made our trip so much better here in Kingston, thank you!

Went to this eatery because I read other reviews. I was not disappointed with the ambience. Cozy but still bit cold inside despite the place being on. The waitress was friendly enough but some where between the ordering and the kitchen there was much confusion. The appetizer was completely forgotten, the spicy mayo that was requested to be in the side, came on the side after it was scraped off the bread, but still was affecting the taste. The brisket was one of the most disappointing sandwiches I ever had, I actually think it was wrong but I was too hungry to ask. They tried to make it right by giving us deserts on the house, but the dinner was very unsatisfactory. Won't go back. I am sure the service can be better, too bad.

Love this place! This restaurant may get over looked by visitors to the city because its not downtown but it is definitely worth paying a visit to. They have great food, a cozy atmosphere and the BEST nachos!
