Dr. David Todd has specialized training in implant procedures, oral pathology, oral infections, exodontia (extractions), managing impacted teeth, bone and soft tissue grafting and anesthesia techniques. Dr. Todd has served patients in Chautauqua County for more than 20 years. He is a dental school graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, as well as a medical school graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

Dr. Todd does superb work! Over the years, he has pulled teeth, placed two implants, and reconstructed damaged teeth for me. The employees and office protocol are also first rate. This is the place to go for the best possible dental care in our region!

Dr. Todd and his staff are very professional and pleasant. His office environment is peaceful and welcoming and makes you feel at ease. Dr. Todd easily identified the issues I was having, which I thought was my wisdom teeth, but wasn't, and he gave me great advice to deal with it.

Dr. Todd removed my four wisdom teeth. We were scheduled to do two but things were going well and he offered to finish the job and did. Dr. Todd a while later did an implant after my root canal failed that another dentist had tried twice to make work. Everything went great and I will probably still have that implant that Dr. Todd inserted in the grave. In June 2017 I went for a second implant and being more comfortable with the procedure having been through it once, had the opportunity to observe the staff more closely and I was struck by the professionalism of the entire staff and Dr. Todd is a master of his craft. After surgery, I took two ibuprofen and then later, four more. The next day when Dr. Todd's office called to see how I was feeling and to remind me to use Listerine four times per day, I was able to say--I feel fine--no ibuprofen and yes, I had already rinsed as the directions said. You won't find a better experience. I for one will never go the root canal route but straight to implants. I give Dr. Todd and his staff my highest recommendation!

My experience with Dr. Todd's office was unorganized, unprofessional, and undesirable. The staff was rude and lacked compassion. A surgery scheduled for a Friday was over an hour behind and ended up requiring a change of post-operative transportation plans. The office did not call ahead of time to warn of the delay in schedule, causing much more stress than was needed. The staff acted as if they did not care that there were patients in the office, nor that the extremely delayed schedule was causing a problem in my life, which I had made an effort to plan around this appointment. The scheduling availability was very limited, extending a month into the future for the first available appointment on two occasions. The staff also showed no effort in comforting for shock, which is one of the most important jobs in surgical operations. I felt the treatment i received at doctor Todd's oral surgeon office was traumatic, and I would not recommend any friend to get dental work at this office. The procedure went well, but the lack of care was astounding. The staff also acted as if i was in the wrong for showing up on time, and for trying showing distress in having to change my plans because the office can't manage their schedule professionally.
