Depending which one you go to. Front seems to like talking down to people. No need to be SO Disrespectful Towards Others..We ALL Have Feelings!!!!! You Have NO Idea What People Are REALLY Going Through..Soo DON'T Be SO Damn Quick To JUDGE..!!!
I just walked out of an appointment with Dr. Timothy Brown at GLPP in Jamestown. I have never walked out of a doctor's office against medical advice. I know surgeons aren't known for their bedside manner, but he was confrontational from the moment he walked into the room, talked down to me, talked over me and informed me that his IQ is higher than mine. I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a medical professional. If you wish to be treated like a human being, stay far away from this man. I am sitting in my car crying right now due to how he treated me. I just wanted to get a darn cyst removed and biopsied. Apparently, that, and being treated with respect, is too much to ask.
I saw Dr. Kaminiar for over 2 years and found her to be a very basic Doctor and also brash at times.. You have to be very careful what you say to her. Wouldn’t recommend her.
Dr. Hayes office: Rude and incompetent office staff and a rude and incompetent physician. Spends three times longer than reasonable in office visits mostly struggling with a computer and recounting details from the last visit which was itself an overlong recounting of the previous visit. Changes both brand of medicine and method/dosage without first establishing a baseline. Overreacts to blood work. Awkward bedside manner. Zero communication among staff so things I told them a month ago needed to be constantly reiterated to new and aggressively unprofessional office staff. Took the doctor four tries to properly write a new prescription at one point. Zero respect for your time. To characterize UPMCs management of its Jamestown properties as an afterthought would be too charitable. They don't actually want quality medical facilities in Jamestown; they want to push as much as possible over to Erie and if not for state insurance limitations I am confident would push even more that way. I have this from several UPMC medical professionals at the Jamestown facilities. So this is the type of patient service and substandard care you can expect from the king jackass in a one horse town. There are some good doctors and offices still in Jamestown, primarily those who preceded UPMC . The GLPP family practice in particular isn't one of them.
Very professional. Clean, nice decor, and the best? The warm and friendly staff. Awesome Nurse Practitioner. Very convenient. I'm new to the state up from Nashville TN, I had worked in a high end dental practice, near Vanderbilt Univ/Hospital, professional doctors/interns as patients for 38 yrs. Trust me, I get no red flags about going to GLPP what so ever. Can't wait to meet the doctors! Yay! Great care in Western N.Y.!
I've been a patient of various medical doctors in this group and have not had any type of issue with any of them over the years.
This is perhaps extremely late to rate, however Dr. Campion is a great doctor & I'd refer anyone I care about to see him. I saw him years ago & must say he's the best Dr I've ever had. He scoped me from top to bottom, even had me swallow a camera. We still couldn't figure out my diagnosis. Yet he tried as best as he could to help me. He LISTENED to me. I'm sorry but I've had several Drs after him that never actually listened to what I was saying. They were misdiagnosing me, and that's not good. I wish every Dr was like him!!
I have had so many negative experiences with this place. Before Dr. C. Brown left, she blatantly disregarded my previously diagnosed chronic medical conditions and refused to treat me. Then she kicked me out of her practice. I now drive to Buffalo just for a primary doctor, because this place is that bad. Upon returning to see the new doctor for my husband Dr. Alfallay and sitting in the waiting room you can clearly hear them talking about patients and patient issues. Then I find out I am not allowed to go into the office with my husband when we have major concerns about things going on. This place is horrendous.
I go here with my mom to Tammy Thayer's office and always have a great experience with their staff. Bloodwork drawn in same facility is a big convenience. Wheelchairs are at the main door with a nice large covered drop off.
Went to the WCA ER about a month ago and was mis diagnosed by the ER Dr.. Was instructed to follow up with a primary care DR., so I scheduled a first time patient appointment with Dr. Hayes' office and the soonest appointment available was about a month out. I called them after not feeling well a couple weeks after going to the ER to see if they would fit me into a cancellation to get me in sooner and they were unable to accommodate. I ended up going to the ER in Warren, PA and had to go in for emergency surgery a couple of weeks after that. Had I been diagnosed properly at WCA or seen by Dr. Hayes within a reasonable amount of time I wouldn't have had to suffer through an unnecessary, avoidable illness for a month. To top it off I called to reschedule my appointment tomorrow because I had to have emergency surgery and they wouldn't see me for another month again. WCA IS HORRIBLE, apparently Dr. Hayes' level of service and professional care isn't much better. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!
