From May of this year, all the way up to 2 weeks ago, I had suffered with a nose infection that normal doctors just could not get a handle on. I was told by one doctor to use Afrin nasal spray to help with the problem. So here I am for a solid 4 months using Afrin on the daily basis. I decided I had enough and stopped using it and thats when things went downhill. I ended up getting a blocked nose where 0 air flow was happening. I freaked out and rushed to the E.R. at 2 in the morning to get some answers. After a CT scan and talking with the doctor, the afrin screwed my nose my up and made everything swell. Sent me home with flonase....okay? Later on that morning I called Dr. King for an emergency visit because I did not like the answers I recieved from the hospital. It all started with his staff, understanding and although their phones ring non stop, they listened to what I had to say. The form they give you, which is basically an evaluation sheet helps not just him but you get an idea on what you want looked at and what your pai and discomfort is at. My first appointment, my pain levels were at a 9 and my chart read a number of 69. The receptionist brings me into the exam room and i waited no longer than 5 minutes for Dr. King to come in. We looked at my CT scans from earlier and we both were blown away at what we were seeing. Absolutely 0 air flow on the left side of my nasal cavity and a very deviated septum with a bone growth that appeared to be from a childhood injury (never remember doing something to my nose, so Im blaming my parents for accidentally dropping me and leaving it to that.) He begins examining inside my nose and was super gentle and told me step by step what he was doing. Now to me, at the time it felt like a torture chamber because of how bad the infection damaged my nose. Rotten, dead tissue stuck to where even himself could not pull out. He perscribed me 2 antibiotics, which one was a nasal flush one (and for anyone who has to do this, fyi, it tastes horrible and your first few times will puke,) and a steroid. I was upset, I was mad and confused but Dr. King assured me we would get this figured out and in 2 weeks to see him. 2 weeks go by and I could breathe again out of that nostril. 2 weeks i suffered blowing out rotten infectious skin, green boogers, whatever it was, it was out. I went to see him again this past week and although the infection is gone, it left damaged goods. A septum so fragile and frail, live tissue that is beyond scarred and wounded. He warned me that my septum may get a hole in it (it happened just today and let me tell you, its not very noticable until I breathe and I hear a whistle,) and my nose will feel dry and sore especially in these winter months. He gave me some oil drops for my nose, and yet again reassured me that everything will be okay and surgery isnt an option at this time. Now, I know this sounds like a fake tale, but its not. Im 25, with a messed up nose, but I can breathe again. If it wasnt for Dr. King being so generous to open his schedule in such a short notice, and not giving up and getting this handled, I would still be suffering and not breathing. He is very informative, very kind, and straight to the point. He doesnt beat around the bush, and tells it how it is on what you need to do for your nose to keep things healthy and flowing. I learned more about the nose in those few weeks than I ever would had thought. And although I have a hole in my nose and it constantly drains, I am very pleased to know that I will be okay. I am very very thankful I listened to people about going to him and his office. Everyone was super professional, the waiting room has an amazing fish tank, and over all the place is so clean. Very pleased with everything and I am looking forward to seeing them again in June. Thank you Dr. King and your staff for helping me after 4 months of torture!

If I could leave less than one star I would. What's nice about this office ends at the cool fish tank. I took my daughter, based on our pediatrician's recommendation that she see an ENT, who had chronic ear infections and fluid issues here for an evaluation. She didn't see Dr. King, she saw some NP who told me my daughter would need to have seven ear infections, spread over the course of a year, in order for them to consider treating her, but that she should have a hearing test just in case. The following week, my daughter's ear drum burst. I then called on Monday to get an appointment and they couldn't get us in. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Excellent surgeon. After multiple severe tonsil infections, he removed my sons tonsils. Great bedside manner.
