Dollarama

My grand daughter who is 12 went to pay for an item that was $3 and change + tax for a total of 4.55 she had the exact change for the item. But when the clerk scanned it totalled up to $5.00 something, so she didn't have enough money. So the clerk rolled her eyes and said you dont have enough, you can go, as they just can't void it they have to call a manager to void. Everyone in line was looking at my grand daughter and some other lady said is the alarms because she didn't have enough money? Totally an embarrassing situation for a 12 year old. My grand daughter was too embarrassed to tell them to check the price at the isle, as she honestly thought the price was 3 something. This whole situation could have been handled better. Dollarama should ensure their pricing is correctly displayed, so this kind of situation doesn't have to happen.nJust very disappointed to hear how this non-purchase went down.

I would like to think we were just unlucky, but the day we visited the line was extremely long, with only one checkout open. The cashier seemed very stressed by the situation and, at times, came across as a bit rude. During busy seasons like this, it would really help to have more registers open to improve the experience for both customers and staff.

Great selection and well stocked.nA very clean location.nnCheckout can be slow - with often 5 people or more in line - and staff seemed reluctant to open more than two tills. Checkout times can be anywhere from 2 minutes to 15 minutes because of this.nnOtherwise a convenient one-stop-shop for a variety of items.

Big store, lots of everything at good prices, thus the name Dollarama. Store very clean, long isles to walk down, wish they had signs indicating what's in each isle. Friendly staff. You definitely can save money here for those items you need. Cheers!

Friendly, happy staff willing to help and show you where things are. I shop here daily and love all the new items they get. Keep up the great work guys.
