I’m incredibly frustrated with the lack of action by the District of North Vancouver regarding the camper vans parked near the tennis centre. While regular residents are ticketed for minor parking infractions, these individuals have essentially moved in, some even building semi-permanent structures. Many of these vehicles have been parked for 4–5 months in the same small area, blatantly violating the 72-hour unrestricted parking rule.nnThe situation has become dangerous. These occupants are frequently using drugs, appear intoxicated, have aggressive dogs, and behave belligerently toward people using the tennis centre at night. It’s only a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt.nnThis issue needs to be addressed immediately. Enforcing parking regulations is crucial to ensure the safety of the community and maintain order in the area. Please take action before the situation escalates further.
Noel was extremely helpful, he really made me feel like my problem mattered!
The DNV is impossible to deal with to obtain permits for simple jobs like a retaining wall, after you pay for your building permit application and supply all requested documents they come up with more, not only do we require a dnv business license and building permit but we need a permit to use the roadways in the dnv that our tax dollars already pay for, not only that but they want named as an insured on our business so that we can drive the roads of north vancouver. This people are drunk with power and money grabbing fines amd we dropped this job as the 50k payday wasn't enough to deal with these unreasonable greedy mongrols. Shame on you DNV your policies are not doing a dam thing but generate revenue for things our tax dollars already pay for.nnGood luck to any contactor dumb enough to dry and deal with the dnv.
They can’t be bothered to tell you if your homeowner grant has been approved or not / you just gotta keep checking and checking. But they’re more than happy to tell you you’ve been fined 5% for late payment.
Amazing place but a bit fat from the main north Vancouver downtown.
