Really cute Vietnamese coffee place. I’m really happy they offer a variety of options Asian flavored drinks and snacks. I tried their iced pandan latte and it was good. Staff was super friendly too. They have a lot of seats inside with cool decor and a small patio at the front.
I absolutely love this place. Amazing coffee shop during day hours and bar with immaculate food drinks and ambiance at night. Must try: Any coffee and their salted egg yolk muffins. At night the pork floss fries and the viet coffee martini.
Highly recommend: vietnamese coffee, chicken banh mi, peach tea or the ube pandan coffee latte! They are very creative with the menu but also keep the core of delicious vietnamese food. Nice place to hang out with friends, study or work! The staffs are friendly and careful with their food too
I love that the owner wants to elevate the Vietnamese coffee scene with a twist of his own creativity. I'm not a coffee drinker so I tried this matcha latte and it was the best matcha drink ever. The coconut milk was the perfect combo and it's not too sweet. He supports the villages in Vietnam that produces this coffee as his way of giving back so mad props for that. The presentation is always on point and their staff is super friendly as well. Highly recommended!
District 3 displays Vietnamese culture in a fun way. I love how this cafe is decorated! It’s truly meant to be a space where people can enjoy themselves while indulging in some Viet treats. I had the District because the barista recommended it to me and I’m so happy she did! I loved the flavor combination of pandan, ube cheese foam, and coffee. The art on the top of the drink is also very cool. My friend had Viet iced coffee/cà phê sữa đá and the Phở Brisket Bánh Mì. He thoroughly enjoyed both! I will most definitely return to try more drinks and enjoy their other yummy food.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Delish yum yum drinks! Veganized ube latte and peach tea was our first drinks, for the sweet tooth for sure. Not many vegan dessert options. But they do have vegan banh mi.
Have you had Beef Dip before? Well, whether you have or have not, you need to check out this Viet’s take on the classic!! The Pho Brisket Banh Mi came with tender, flavourful Beef Brisket bits, along with Pickled Veggies, and their RICH Pho Broth to dip in, WOW, we absolutely loved the creativity on this! We highly recommend their Salted Egg Cupcake, the Saltiness from the Salted Egg balanced the fluffy, spongey, sweet Cupcake perfectly, topped with Pork Floss, what a snack to go with their Drinks! Lemongrass Chicken Sandwich came with flavourful, tender Lemongrass Chicken, it was also a delicious Sandwich! Bac Xiu Milk Coffee was so rich in Viet Coffee flavour, it had Condensed Milk and 2% Milk, such a delicious Coffee! The District had Ube Cheese Foam, Viet Coffee, Pandan Milk, Pandan Jelly, Condensed Milk, the colors were beautiful, and the Pandan Jelly made it extra delicious! Coconut Coffee Frappe was amazing, it had a great Coconut flavour to it!
Really enjoyed stumbling onto this spot, my husband and I liked it so much we went back again the next day lol. Will def go back for the coconut coffee frappe & salted egg cupcake on a hot summer day. Can't wait to try the ube latte next time! Ps the owner David was really nice
MUST TRY NEW VIÊT CAFE in Toronto If you love ube, pandan, and Vietnamese coffee like me, you need try District 3 Viet Cafe. Located at the centre of Little Italy Toronto, it has a rustic concept of interior that makes you feel like you’re in Vietnam. You can find from the classic Vietnamese drip coffee, Cà Phê, to instaworthy drinks like “The District” a combination of ube, pandan, cheese foam and Vietnamese coffee. For non-coffee drinkers, no worries! They have matcha blended with mung beans, lemongrass ginger tea, and peach tea. There is something for everyone here. The experience is not complete if you didn’t try their banh mi with the pho broth, dip dip WOW! And don’t forget about the variety of Viet desserts and pastries. We ordered: * Cà Phê Sūa Phin - iced condensed milk coffee, so good!! * The District - Pandan milk, Viet coffee, condensed milk, Use Cheese Foam and Pandan Jelly. Beautiful layers and such a unique drink. * Coconut Coffee Frappe - blended coconut frappe with espresso shots * Salted Egg Cupcake - Sweet & moist cake texture topped with custard and pork floss * Pho Brisket Banh Mi - Sous-vide beef brisket with daikon and carrots, and dipped into pho soup. District 3 Cafe is so perfect for your mid day pick-me-up and to beat the heat! I wanna try the Durian custard mini sticky rice cake on my next visit. Save this for your next weekend plan
Tastes great, very unique! The district 3 right tasted like a dessert not much like coffee; perfect for those who don’t like the taste of coffee. The purple craze was a good mix between a dessert and coffee. The dessert we got was durian custard sticky rice super interesting taste and was very good, on the sweeter side.
