If you love Turkish coffee and Turkish delights and Turkish Hospitality, then come here. What a beautiful place, so many delicious delights to chose from. We got a box for $20. We had their Turkish coffee and brewed coffee, both were really good, there just never seems to be enough Turkish coffee so I would recommend their brewed coffee, delicious just black. There’s too many Turkish delights to chose from. Just get a box and they will charge by weight. We came back for their Simit Breakfast. It come with olives, coffee, 2 cheeses, tomatoes and salad and a pretzel. The pretzel was soft, chewy and you could taste that it was fresh. Highly recommended this place.
Sophisticated decor, plates, furniture and vibe. There are ample seats and a few more seats upstairs. Tables are far apart enough that you can have proper conversations. A nice spot to people watch if you sit downstairs. Drinks were delicious however we waited a very long time for them to arrive. I don’t know why as there were only 2 other tables and we got cold drinks which are quick to make. We weren’t in a rush but had to follow-up as we weren’t sure if they’d forgotten. We ordered a bunch of Turkish delights which also took ages even though they’re literally sitting at the counter and already cut up, ready to merely place onto a plate. The Turkish delights were luckily not too sweet and it was nice to try different flavours. There is a huge variety of flavours. Quite a pricey place but it’s a nice place to treat yourself or catch-up with people and it’s more peaceful than other cafes. Friendly staff who were a bit too “helpful” - the lady at the cashier just stared at us in the eyes as we were browsing flavours and didn’t seem to want to let us browse first before ordering, which was very off-putting. She seemed to have good intentions, so didn’t say anything. It seems like there are staff at the back who make the drinks, but the cashier could have helped out and provided some of the Turkish delights whilst we were waiting for the drinks, since she had nothing to do. Overall, I’d recommend this place.
A great dessert place in little Italy for Turkish treats. They’ve got quite the variety of Turkish delights, so make sure you try the sample box. Went back again and the baklava Turkish ice cream is another really good choice to try.
Portions were extremely small for what they charge. We ordered Turkish breakfast and the items they put on the dishes were different than the ones the table next to us had ordered they also ordered the same thing though! Staff is nice and the place is lovely! The pistachio latte was good too.
We stumbled upon this cafe while walking around the neighborhood on a Saturday at around 1. We just finished lunch and needed a little pick me up, and the drinks sounded pretty good, so we decided to pop in for a to-go drink. Inside, the space is very chic and clean. They have these beautiful looking pastries and Turkish sweets on display, and everything looks so extravagant. We skipped the sweets and went with a passion/strawberry/peach fizzy, and an iced pistachio latte. The drinks were really good. FYI - any flavored coffee is a shot of syrup for an extra 50 cents. But prices are pretty comparable to those of Starbuck's so if I had the choice, I would pick this cafe. Great local place for a coffee. They also have seating if you want to enjoy your drink there.
Unique and the best baklavas and delights you can find ever! It’s even tastier than the ones in Istanbul. Staff are super friendly and helpful. You can chill out in the cozy space with great decorations while you are drinking Turkish coffee. Highly recommended!
We had a truly authentic Turkish dessert experience here. The staff were very friendly and were very knowledgeable about the desserts they were carrying. We had some baklava which were really great and Turkish delights for the the first time! Everything was amazing. I would go again to try their Turkish coffee!
The cafe’s ambiance is warm and inviting, with a blend of traditional and modern decor. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.
We had Turkish treats from the Kensington market location, but same company it seems. Absolutely delightful. MUST TRY. Each and everyone was so fresh, just the right amount of flavourful and sweetness. So delicious with a nice cup of tea. Can't wait to return.
My first time trying Turkish desserts and I was pleasantly surprised! The girl at the counter was really helpful and told us about the deal where you can get 5 pieces foe $10. We opted to get a small box where you pay by weight which ended up being like $17 for 10 pieces but we chose some small ones which are lighter. Some are really sweet but some are just enough sweetness for me Asian taste buds lol. The desserts look so beautiful and they kept pretty well over a few days. They’re so soft and and some have a nice chew to it. I would definitely come again to try more flavours! I really liked the hazelnut ones and the chocolate ones! We also got their cold brew because it looked cool in a flask. It is STRONG af, immediately after a sip I could feel the caffeine. We didn’t drink it all in one sitting, we would take like a shot of it and then save the rest for another day LOL overall also a very aesthetic cafe, I’d come again!
