Delta downtown Charlottetown is a Marriott Icon hotel on the waterfront in the epic center of the beautiful city! I’ve stayed many times at this amazing convention hotel where they treated me like a king and provided me the key to their kingdom during my many stays. The staff were always friendly, very respectful and accommodating in every aspect of my stay! The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious with fantastic food in their restaurant. The views are great from either side and the hotel is accessible to all the local shops, bars and restaurants in the heart of downtown. Just love this hotel!
Although we didn’t stay overnight we do however experience the restaurant and a gymnastics competition there January 23. The hotel was super clean, had very helpful staff and the ballrooms were very well set up for the competition. Afterwards, 13 of us ate at the restaurant without a reservation and the staff welcomed us so warmly and seated us in a more quiet space in a private dining room. We loved our experience there and hope to stay overnight at the next competition.
This is a nice hotel. We got an upgrade with Sara at the front desk with my bonvoy status to a junior suite and it was very large and had a jacuzzi.nnThe breakfast buffet was closed at this hotel already when we went in mid Oct but they offered us whatever we wanted from the breakfast menu and the food was very delicious and had large sizes, they accommodated us a lot and gave us good portions of delicious berries as requested. Only request is to maybe have lactose free milk not vegan kind. Want to thank Lisa, Albin and Isabella for their great service with a smile!nnThe pool was a bit disappointing; first it was really cold water even in the kids wading pool. The lighting is not very nice - a bit too bright or too dark near the kids pool. We didn't go back after the first time because of the temperature. The sauna whirlpool is nice but a bit too hot.nnKara from housekeeping was so sweet and friendly with our toddler; I always like cheerful kind people!nnSpa is nice. My massage with Nellie was great! They are very accommodating to your preferences and I really appreciated it!
My experience with this property was deeply concerning, especially given the seriousness of the situation involving one of their managers.nnWhen I reached out regarding a lawful matter, the responses I received were vague, evasive, and offered no meaningful assistance, despite the urgency and importance of the issue.nnThis was particularly troubling considering the nature of the legal matters and the potential risks involved.nnMy interactions raised serious concerns about how this property handles matters involving members of its management team, and how little transparency or cooperation the public can expect when legitimate issues arise.nnThis review reflects my personal experience and is shared for public awareness.
Stayed for 2 nights while attending a union conference. Great rooms 1024, as well as the view!!nWonderful staff, very friendly and helpful!!nLove the convention rooms, fitness areas, pool & there's a sauna off of each locker room!! Which is not advertised on their website and should be hahanThe hot tub leaves much to be desired but honestly, I cared more about the fact that they had a sauna haha.nnI would recommend for a weekend away, a night away for just yourself or a couple! Close to many things in downtown Charlottetown - restaurants, bowling, Confederation Center, Silver & Sage crystal/tarot shop & many other shops!!
