This place was so terrible that it was comical, honestly. Within the first 15 minutes of getting there, the fire alarm wouldn't stop going off to the point the fire department had to come and do a full inspection only to determine that it was 'of no particular cause'. Half the building seems to be boarded up. We booked with the hopes of using the pool, which I called beforehand to ask if it was good and up and running and the staff on the phone said yes. It in fact was not. Our room was in the building on the other side of the street which you can take an underground tunnel to, fun right? No. The whole ground level looked like the silent hill hospital and part of it was pouring water from the ceiling into the carpet???? Anyway we get to our room, it hasn't been cleaned properly, the bed linens have stains, the bathroom faucet is all grimey, there's towels in the shower from someone else. Fast-forward, we get to the pool, the only place to change in the pool deck area is a basement very reminiscent of every horror movie ever and has an extremely strong sulfur smell, we get to the pool and the chemicals are so off and unbalanced that the water is opaque and I can see scuzz floating on the top and I'm like we are NOT getting in that pool, good way to get a skin infection or worse if any water is ingested. Anyway, it was like we were in some kind of comedy skit or something with how awful it all was. And it wasn't even a good deal, $150 for a night and $100 damage deposit to have psychosomatic itching all night from being worried about the filth.
I'm laughing at the fake reviews from people who supposedly loved it. We were there for a few months in 2021, it was a dump and apparently still is. It's absolutely used as a flop house, homeless are all over it. No a,/c, hot water only occasionally, electricity comes and goes, we found out the whole room was running off a power bar laying on the floor under the bed. Staff were no help with anything. Please stay away its dirty and run down and they don't care. horrible spot.
We stayed from Thursday to Sunday, Friday night was a shit show because there were younger kids staying and they were partying and causing a disturbance and fighting in the lobby of the conference centre. The security went to their room two times but didn’t do anything other then talk to the girl who rented the room and listen to her lies. Nothing was done other then that which was an bummer because we were up until 2am listening to their shenanigans. Other than that the stay was ok. Our room smelled like spicey food in the mornings and around supper time, but not in the afternoon or overnight, had to buy a plug in air freshener to try and mask the smell.
The hotel rate was okay. No gluten free options for breakfast other than fruit. The room I stayed in was newly renovated which was nice, but there was a loud squeeling noise at 3am. After informing the front desk, they did not do anything for the inconvenience. Most of the hotel was under renovations as well.
We had booked a newly renovated room. There was no heat in the room during our one night stay max 16 degrees and their only solution was to provide us with a space heater, which could not regulate the temperature in the room. There was no soap, shampoo or condition in the shower. The place was rundown and the included breakfast was minimal at best. We wouldn’t recommend staying at this Inn unless you like using space heaters. It was the worst hotel I have ever been in and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, even as a last resort.
