Days Inn & Suites Baxter Brainerd Area

They used to be great. Now they won't even let you use the hot tubs on The weekends unless you have a room. It was 5 bucks to use the tub and it was great for people like my wife and I who need a few mins away from the kids to rest our bodies from arthritis.

I read Dave Thorpe's review below and I'm pretty sure my family and I stayed in the exact same suit. He wrote the review a year ago and sounds like from his description, nothing has changed. The suit had a king sized bed wth 2 bunk beds, enough to fit 6 people. There were no hooks or rod to hang clothes. All our winter jackets were on the floor. No desk. No table. One chair for 5 people. Dirty shower and floor. (After making a complaint they came and cleaned it.) The bathroom door didn't shut and the bathroom is Super small! Fringed carpet. They gave us a discount after the complaint but likely wouldn't stay again unless all the other hotels were booked. Hopefully they will finally make some updates to that specific room (can't speak to other rooms) since it sounds like it still has all the same issues after a year Dave issued his complaint.

Amazing staff!! They were very helpful and friendly. Place was very clean and comfortable.

this was a bit of a mediocre place, but so are most days and Holiday Inn. They have complimentary breakfast, and they had tea coffee and hot cocoa hot all day long and all night long. There is a pool, and a spa area. I had a nice time here. And I would recommend it for anybody who is going to a wedding on a lower budget like me. There's a bit of a cheaper option compared it to most other hotels, but it was still nice. The bedding smells clean and fresh and they provided us with shampoo and conditioner that was for damaged hair. All in all I had a great time

Front desk gal was very helpful and friendly. Nice pool area.
