Checked in about 1pm.looked in the dining area and found that the breakfast food was still out(sausage, eggs, waffle batter, bread, strawberries to put on waffles, etc.) The place was a mess. Woke up the next morning to have breakfast and the sausage, eggs were frozen solid like hockey pucks, the sausage gravy look exactly the same as the day before and didn't smell very good. None for me,Thanks. Stayed in a handicap room, impossible for someone in a wheelchair to use. 1 grab bar behind toilet, the other was missing in front and the holes were patched up and painted, very small bathroom. Never anyone around at the front desk, had to go walking around to find someone. Same person there yesterday, during the night and next day. No extra people?? Other AmericInn's were nice, food was good and hot, plenty of help but not this one. Checking out ASAP, never to return.

This place is 100 times better then when it was the roadway inn. It doesn't smell any more like 3 day old food, rooms have been updated and the beds as well. It still needs a little more for 5 stars. Such as a towel hook on the door and a towel rack by the sink. The doors are a little sticky but it's also an older building. But it's way way better then it was before!

I give zero stars!!
We were overcharged (quoted $99 on the phone and charged us $110/ night)
The room was dirty (not dusted, not cleaned behind toilet, looked like poop smeared on the wall)
The front desk staff is unfriendly, not welcoming and downright rude!
Rooms were supposedly remodeled....new bedding and paint don't make it "remodeled"
Breakfast was cold, hard boiled eggs were rubbery and dried out, coffee tasted burnt, hot water for tea and oatmeal was barely room temp.
No pool
Kids running the halls until late at night.

I only needed this room for a quiet and well rested night on business and that is just what I got. Nice beds, updated rooms and sweet lady at the front desk. Not a super place for a family vacation but great for the business traveler who just wants a place to cozy up, rest and prepare for the next day. It's right by a grocery and liquor store too which was nice for some snacks and a bottle of vino.

Decent looking in at the surface but things were different if you gave it a closer look. When we first arrived, it took the receptionist 10 minutes to resolve a rather simple issue. The night went well, except for the pillows being hard. When I walked outside the following morning, the trash outside the back entrance was overflowing, with pizza boxes on the floor. When I went to go back inside, I realized the door didn't require a room key to open, like all other hotels. This was a major security issue. When I tried to enter my room, the room key wouldn't even work, and this happened for multiple people. When we were eating lunch in the lobby eating area around 12:00, one of the workers started vacuum cleaning right in for the of us. The noise was so loud none of us could hear each other. So much for putting the costumer first. These people showed no care for their guests, it was honestly disgusting.
