Baymont Inn & Suites Baxter/Brainerd Area

My family had the pleasure of an unexpected extended stay at The Baymont hotel in Baxter Minnesota. Our furnace broke down and because of the cold weather, we were unable to be at home. We were there March 29th to April 2nd. As upsetting as it was, we were elated to learn we could bring our other family member, our Golden Retriever Charley to stay with us! As a matter of fact, I didn’t even inquire about this, and Jalynn, who assisted us in our reservation said “We are pet friendly “. She was so helpful and kind it felt as if we were staying for fun. She also mentioned she would keep our room available for however long we needed it, and that was very reassuring. Also, my husband is with the Baxter PD, and a situation arose that caused Jalynn to be concerned, and she brought it to my husbands attention and he in fact took care of it. We requested a basic room, and were very pleased with the size and cleanliness. The staff in housekeeping and in the breakfast area were very helpful and kind as well. My hope is Jalynn and the rest of your staff will be acknowledged for their hard work and kindness. What a dedicated group you have. We WILL be back for reasons other than an emergency! We had a great night at Baymont inn. The hotel staff was great and accommodating. The continental breakfast was good enough to visit twice. We had a fun time at the pool and hot tub with our kids. The rooms were good but not very well cleaned, however, as we found a game token in the bed, as well as an old sock and water bottle under the bed. Despite that we would visit again.

It was an average-nice hotel. The location is convenient. The workers were kind. There were swimming lessons taking place in the pool, but the life guard was easy going so we were able to swim around the class. They have a really cool little kid shallow pool. The rooms weren't super clean, and the breakfast was lacking a bit of variety, but overall it was a good experience.

Great pool and hot tub. There were a lot of kids there, accompanied by their parents. There was a sauna but it wasn't too hot. Pretty cheap rates for pool if you are looking for a quick swim

Clean, comfortable, good value in lakes area. Nice pool and workout room.
