Quarterdeck Resort

Quaint and adorable. My wife and I loved stopping here for a night in late November. The staff were warm and friendly. We loved the room, the view and the sunrise. They had an adorable set of cookies out shapes like a turkey. Coffee was rough and there was no breakfast. But know that going in and you’ll have an amazing time.

We got there and when we got to our room, we noticed dead Asian beetles by the balcony door. It took us 30 minutes to get the tv to turn on, after finding out the cable box wasn't connected. The jacuzzi has a black residue in the bottom, which washed away with water. Everything else was good. The dishes were clean, the beds were clean. But the bugs grossed us out. Wasn't worth $165 for one night...

Great stay...full amenities even with some dishes, kind and helpful staff. Beautiful Sunrise.

Good spot on the west side of the lake for decent food (Jake's chain from the Twin Cities) and well-poured drinks. Plan ahead for dinner, usually a good hour+ wait and the bar fills up fast. Plenty of dock space with attentive help (don't forget to tip the dock boys and girls, standard practice is $2 in, $2 out..), yard games for the kids, paddle board and kayak rentals.
