This is not the place to take your children. The water park is outdated and they hire inexperienced children as pool guards. At times they only have 1-2 guard/ pool watchers for the whole park. They are on their phones or talking to one another. Food is stale, old, and overpriced.  I spoke to the general manager of the hotel a few times to complain and she never apologized or had the issue corrected. The last time I was there there was a male pool manager and he got things done when I told him the issue. He did explain the situation and was clear. He was great, but he no longer is employed there and everything went back to the toilet. This place needs to be updated and get better management.

Stay here every time I come to Brainerd.  Rustic- style furniture in comfortable rooms with multiple configurations and televisions.  In- house restaurant with pretty good food and a bar; also has a water park that is available on weekends during the winter and all week long in the summer.  Small exercise room and arcade on site as well, and they can accommodate meetings, weddings and more.  Nice and quiet during winter weekdays, with few to no children around.  Lots of alternate restaurants around to choose from, and plenty of shopping, within just a few miles in the Baxter/Brainerd area.

It's extremely clean, quaint, and homey! The staff is friendly and the rooms all have different names. The beds are super comfy. The rooms are big too. It's a very nice place.

The hotel was nice and clean. The rooms were comfortable. The waterpark was fun but the water park staff left something to be desired. Fairly rude and didn't seam to care at all. The only other complaint was that there were never any clean towels while the towel bins were always full of dirty ones. We'd come back but if next time mirrored this time it would probably be our last trip to this location.

I come here every year. The water at the water park is nice and warm. The slides and atmosphere are fun, breakfast is delicious with a lot of variety. The beds are comfortable, rooms always clean.. My only complaint is the staff. I constantly encounter a staff member with serious attitude for unwarranted reasons. For example, my poor Mother called from a cell phone to ask the front desk when breakfast was served. The woman at the desk proceeded to lecture her for not using the room phone. Either don't relay the information if it isn't policy or answer the question and shut up. So passive aggressive.
