Days Inn Cortland / McGraw

(P.s summary at the end for lazy people).The rooms were nothing special and were outdated but for the price we paid, the rooms were reasonable. We came down to deer hunt and the hotel was really nice and opened breakfast up an extra 2 hours earlier for the hunters. The second night we stayed it didn't look like they did much to the room except leave a new bar of soap when we clearly needed everything else (like shampoo) and just made the beds because the sheets didn't seem new but I couldn't tell for sure. One really annoying thing that happened that isn't necessarily the hotels fault is there was kids playing ding dong ditch all night long and running up and down the halls ( this could happened at any hotel). In retrospect if you're looking for a cheap place to stay in McGraw and don't care about the little things in hotels, this is the place for you.

The location is extremely easy to find and get to. The staff was great: super friendly and helpful. The room was good, just what we expected for the reasonable price.

The bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean. I liked that there was both a microwave and refrigerator in my room. There was also direct TV so when I came back to the room for the night I was able to find a movie with settle in. There weren't many people staying at the hotel so it was quiet. That was nice.

The room was a spacious and very clean retreat. The bed (king size) was sooooo comfortable. Even though there is a notice to hang towels to conserve energy, which we happily did, we found fresh towels every day. Breakfast included eggs and sausage along with waffles and the usual breads and cereal and yogurt options. Most hotels we've stayed in here in the lower 48 have not included hot options beyond waffles. The staff we saw were all very friendly and all smiling. No grumpy people here! We will definately stay here again when we come back to visit the area next year.

Awesome! Very nice room and great people. The bathroom is a bit on the small side and the breakfast is basic but the beds were very comfortable, the desk electronics hookups top notch, WiFi effortless and the TV very nice. We had absolutely no complaints and will definitely stay again the next time we are up there visiting family.
