Days Inn Alpena

Fellow travelers beware! At checkout the front desk clerk informs me that company policy is no more paper receipts will be given to departing guests. If I would have checked my e-mail before I left I would have seen an added $15.00 'Service Charge'. This incremental charge never was revealed in the room's reservation process. What service was I charge for, making a copy of my driver's license and credit card at check in, or giving me my room key, which is the total extent of the services that were rendered to me during my stay? Just another modern day business that can't seem to make a go of it without jamming consumers with hidden fees.

Booked this hotel for 4 nights. Great price. Very clean hotel. Staff is very friendly. Good location and close to attractions. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. When we decided to cut our trip a night short and checked out at 5 pm they gladly refunded our last night without even a hesitation. The staff was accommodating the whole time. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Will be back again for sure

Beds were hard and traffic is crazy since its right off the highway. Fanciest bathroom I've seen in a long time. 8/10 for the bathroom, points lost for the whole thing was a washed out coffe color. Couldn't tell if I spilled my make up when I dropped it. It's biased really. Okay, 10/10. You got me.

They we very accommodating for our group. I liked the halls with all the windows. The rooms were a little small.. but I wasn't in it a whole lot. We'll be back.

I have stayed in hundreds of motels over the years all across the continent. Days Inn is one of hit and miss kind of places as they are either good or leave something to be desired. This is a good one and I would not hesitate to stay here again when I'm in the area and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Solid offering.
