40 Winks Motel

I needed last-minute accommodations for a funeral, and I had a wonderful, albeit, short, stay. Kris, and Gus, (the resident kitty), were terrific. For an older motel, it was very nice. I loved walking out the door, and having Lake Huron right across US 23, and would definitely stay here again.

Adorable budget motel! We were looking for a last minute hotel late at night and were very appreciative when we called and found that this place had a room available. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, comfy, and quiet in a very safe neighborhood location. There's a cute little lake you can walk to across the street. Would definitely recommend!

Clean, well-kept, and a friendly owner. A ma and paw operation, the owner and her sweet cat run the place.

Showed up last-minute and the host was happy to give us a room. Rooms were clean and did the trick. Beds aren't hugely comfortable but the pillows were great. Love the coloured chairs outside each room!
