When stuff is on sale it's ok but other then that it's rather pricey for a regular income family imho. Another thing worth noting is the clearance aisle usually has some really good cheap products like for example big tubs of cotton candy for 69 cents you can't go wrong! The employees are always friendly and willing to help out keeping that small town vibe alive!

I went to the independent grocery store in porthope. I heard they had a very good selection for international foods. I have family in the area, I hear great things about this establishment. My first, last and only trip to this store was not so great. While browsing the isle I had question for one of the employees here, this employees name was Max. After closing up our interaction, I couldn’t help but overhear the ignorant, racist comments this young boy was making towards his co-worker about different cultures and races. I couldn’t catch all of it but there was a comment made about me along the lines of I “stunk” and needed to “buy deodorant while I was at it”. This boy had brown hair, tall & didn’t look to be older than 18, was chatting with his co-worker who seemed to be uninterested in the conversation and wanted to do his job like a respectable young man. I leave this review in hopes that this ignorant employee is acknowledged for his actions as racism & ignorance towards customers of different ethnicities and customers in general is unacceptable. Overall, this establishment was well kept, clean, stocked shelves, and nice cashiers who offer to bag for you! That’s always a nice perk as places don’t offer that much anymore. Unfortunately, I will not be returning but I would recommend this store to anyone who doesn’t mind being hate crimed while innocently shopping for your wife and children. We need to start remembering that you need to teach your children respect before entering the work force. Clearly the interview process isn’t long enough.

Nice store with friendly staff. Good location with attached gas station Mobil making it very convenient. Plenty of free parking outside. Range of products is very good and produce all look fresh. Lots of selection. Excellent store.

Very clean and quiet grocery store! Well stocked on all merchandise. All afternoon and evening associates have been great and quick at cash out!

Clean, well stocked and quick checkout. One of rare stores in PC Group to carry Ginger Beer. This had sections with clothes as well as food.
