For over the last 3 years Pharmasave has given excellent service and also advice to me. The staff are always friendly and courteous. Even at peak times they are available to answer questions about medications and treat all customers fairly. The store is very well laid out and always clean. Overall, a great business to support.
This place is getting worse and worse. I went to pick up my prescription just to fund out it was in back order due to the past weather and no deliveries coming in. That is understandable. But you'd think they would at least call and let me know before I went out of way to pick them up. This isn't the first time it's happened.
Absolutely fantastic service from Kim in Skincare. She went above and beyond with my concern and made me feel appreciated. I would highly recommend Kim at the Port Hope Pharmasave for any skincare concerns. Keep up the great work!
i was there to order some drinks at 5:44pm. i was on the line no one in front of me but no one willing to say hi and take my order. i was waiting on the line there was a guy at the cash stand there and doing nothing. no hi or how can i help you anything. 1st time to this location but i always go to other ones. i always get best service form starbucks but after this i am not going to go back here anymore.
Like other reviews have mentioned the prices here are 30-50% more than other Pharmasave and pharmacy locations. For example a small bottle of Ombrelle sunscreen was $18 normally that’s normally the price for the large. We didn’t have any and needed some so we had no choice. The pharmacist was very helpful though as we had a wasp sting to deal with and he pointed us in the right direction.
I have been in and out of Pharmasave many times, and I can't help but notice a huge change in demeanor with the staff. Especially at the post office. I couldn't tell you the last time I dealt with a friendly face when doing my postal errands. Maybe the store is under new management, maybe? I said that with hope because there is no way people could possibly be seemingly sour every single day. I gave 3 stars only because of things like, - the store is clean & kept well stocked. - the cashiers up front have been super kind and courteous, even with all the struggles going on. I have only encountered the not so pleasant cashiers, MAYBE a handful of times.
I was in the store and the customer service agent, Jenn, was not very friendly. All I did was ask her to help me find something in the store and she sighs and rolls her eyes. Then on my way out after picking up my prescription the same lady is doing the cash and she doesn't smile, say hi, or even look at me. Wow, why would you have such poor customer service? If you dislike your job that much then leave, don't take it out on the customers. I will never go back here. I've already switched my accounts to Shoppers Drug Mart were the staff is friendly and welcoming.
You can get everything here. They even have a British section with all sorts of candy, chocolate, cookies and drinks. Gift ware and cosmetic sections are substantial. Small grocery section. Starbucks inside. Love going here even though I don't live close to it.
Their staff are amazing! Their pharmacist literally went above and beyond my expectations and saved my life. I can't say how thankful I am that they are in town. Thank you!!
Avoid Pharmasave! Rude staff. Go to another pharmacy in Port Hope.
