Seriously some of the best rice rolls in the city. Their other offerings are also stellar. The beef brisket and the black sesame dessert was among the best I’ve ever had.  Portions are solid and price is decent too! Service is fast and the food is served piping hot. Perfect for a cold day or when you’re feeling under the weather. I come back almost once a month.

This humble little restaurant chain sure serves delicious food. In addition to their excellent congee and rice noodle - please try the braised beef! So, so good, especially with their chili oil.  Have to say I’m not too impressed with how they serve the food. They serve everything in takeout containers which just get thrown away at the end of the day. They probably have their reasons for this, but I do hope they can change to regular dine-in plates.

Cheap, but delicious eats. Better rice rolls than dim sum spots in the city. Staff a lot friendlier than what you would expect at these types of restaurants typically. Place is pretty clean too as everything is served with disposables. Food gets served incredibly fast as well.  The rice rolls have great texture and have a good amount of filling. The congee is piping hot with a generous amount of toppings. The hot sauce has a nice flavour to it too, not spicy per say but fragrant.

Simple and meets expectations! I usually get the beef & chive rice roll, and this time we also tried the deep fried steam bun with condensed milk and this was PERFECT. Crispy but soft, not too sweet and just the right flavour. Definitely recommend this. Get the iced milk tea too! A super casual and low priced meal.

Got takeout and it was pretty good! 10% cash discount which is nice, also they were super fast with my order.  The steamed rice rolls were smooth and delicious, and had lots of fillings! Highly recommend!

One of my favorite spots in Markham. The food is so simple yet so delicious, I can eat this everyday! These authentic dishes are freshly made and the congee is served boiling hot. The chinese donuts are to die for!! The beverages are good but nothing special. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Markham.

Our favourite chang fen stop! Family friendly.  Service Family Friendly: During our latest dine in experience, the staff asked if we needed a highchair for my daughter which was very attentive and considerate. We were brought tea and told to order from their qr code on the table. The ordering process was relatively simple, but you will need data on your phone as there is no wifi. As my daughter is still young 3yo, we tend to avoid eating at small restaurants during peak meal times lunch and dinner rush as she can eat pretty slow, so that usually means the staff are on break. Even so, the service we received was still surprisingly fast!  Food: We've tried a variety of dishes, and ate in and bought for takeout. Very fresh, everything comes out piping hot. Our favourite is the dough stick rice noodle roll. The doughstick is crispy and light, not heavy and dense like many other places. The rice noodle are smooth and silky soft, evident of their years of practice to perfect it.  The congee are flavourful and have the perfect consistency, not too thick and not too watery. They also have a selection of dim sum which was also pretty good.

Came by to have a small bite to eat. This was my first time here sitting in here but I've had their conger before for take out a while ago.  We ordered the Chinese version of doughnut with rice noodles roll and  beef brisket low mein.   Both tasted great and because I was not too hungry, it hit the spot so I can wait for dinner.  We also had a HK style frozen milk tea... it's not served in any places like this, it preserves the taste/flavor of the milk tea without deluding it with ice water...

The cold served fish skin is really good, rarely do I find a place that serve this dish.  The congee was full of fresh ingredients and I would visit again.

Food was too expensive. The  seafood congee had more Cha Siu than actual seafood which was really suprising. Considering that this is a seafood congee, and there's more meat than seafood, this was unacceptable.  The  quantity had been drastically reduced for an even higher price compared to the past.  At this increased price, going to Dim Sum behind the restaurant is more economical.
