Came for dinner at a spur of the moment. Generous portions, every bite was tasty. The chicken balls were cooked perfectly. The bibimbap came with the paste on the side which I poured generously and mixed in, providing even more kick and spice to the dish. The noodles comes in two sizes, with the small being more than enough for my wife and me. Also very delicious. Service was prompt and on point. Will be back.

A small Korean restaurant just away from the main streets of Richmond where parking is plenty. Food was great here, nothing blown away. Your typically mom & pop family run restaurants with some great menus. The popular dishes among the locals were their hot pot soups combo for 2. They don't have your typical Korean BBQ cook until your wrist goes numb. Everything is made to order and comes out super hot just like we wanted it. Service was friendly but could be better. Lost a star for that.

Everyone else is right - one of the best seafood pancakes. It's not photogenic but it's so good. It's crispy on top with a ton of seafood mixed in shrimp, imitation crab, etc. The sauce it comes with was also very good. My favorite item on the menu. I also tried the short ribs, soy garlic fried chicken wings not pictured and the Royal rice ttukboki. Everything was really good but if I had to choose a "best of the rest" it would be the short ribs. The wing sauce had great flavor, I just wish they had boneless chicken and not just wings. But on the menu it says "boneless chicken balls" so maybe that's it? I will definitely be back to this place so maybe I'll try it then and update this review.

Incredible taste.. it’s unlike your typical Korean restaurants, the food is more on the spicy side but has very unique and savoury flavour. I will return for sure. I am giving it 3 stars because even though it’s a small restaurant, having only one waiter was not enough. We arrived around 7:30pm and had to wait for tables being cleaned, being seated, getting menu and water, placing order… all because there is too much work for only one person. The floor was dangerously oily and slippery, our waiter slipped and fell in front of everyone which I felt very sorry for.

Fan of Korean pancakes, stew pots, bbq hot plates,and fried chicken. Love seafood pancakes & hot plate comes already piled up ready to cook on portable gas range. Limited seating in-store, take out available. Hope to try out lunch menu soon. On cold days gets especially crowded. Parking: Garden City mall parking lot

The food is good. My group of 4 ordered a combo for 4 kamjatang, japchae, galbi short ribs, and seafood pancake and it was just enough for us i mean we left full up but not too full so its portion is average. Good service. However, the place is quite small so we had to wait a bit to get in. Also, it is small so all the smell from the food and smoke from bbq are stuck in the restaurant and clothes. We will come back for good food tho.

Music was a bit too loud. The food was great! A bit pricy, but great. Would recommend the hot plate beef, and stone bowl. Was delicious! I think so their hot plates have great potiential! The spice level is a bit high, but mostly that's because of my terrible spicy tolerance. The Kimichi pancake was disappointing. A bit dry, flavorless, and soggy. Food: 4.5/5 Atomosphere: 4/5 a bit messy Price: $-$$ per person. Comeback rate : 75%

The food is very good but the only reason I wouldn’t give this place a 5 star is because it is quite expensive. Most dishes are ~$16 but they range to ~$26. I do love they give you a tea pot and a jug of water at each table.

Atmosphere was lovely. Hostess/waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was prepared quickly and was INSANELY delicious. An absolutely wonderful dining experience that I'd recommend to anyone looking for Korean comfort food

Good Korean Restaurant. The Pork Bone Hotpot is a must. But be prepare to wait as it’s always busy.
