Beef King Restaurant

To the owner of this restaurant - The staff is amazing and very helpful, when our chicken arrived with bloody bones they did not hesitate to replace our dish. I was a customer back when this restaurant was named Beef King, the food was delicious and had a western twist to it. The highlight of my previous visit was the sweet and salty beef pot and the big portion. The food was great and I thought it was a great twist on Asian cuisine by adding the melted cheese on top with sweet and salty flavours. This restaurant is no longer that. The portions is the same, but the flavour is no longer present. It just seems like this establishment was pressured to become a more traditional style of Chinese cuisine due competitors in this area. This was a mistake. We ordered the Beef Rib Pot and the chunks of meat were huge and tougher than my math exams, flavourless ingredients masked with a pool of chili oil on top. If you compare the food to the other restaurants nearby, it is mediocre. What used to be a unique restaurant with bold flavors has turned into a copy of nearby restaurants, and a bad one at that. In short - my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined xD R.I.P Beef King

The staffs are extremely friendly and make sure you are well taken care of on everything, with a perfect balance of not bothering as well. Food are good. The dessert with yogurt stuffing is unique to me. Did not order alcohol as need to drive. The atmosphere is great with good privacy in boothed wooden tables.

Sooooooo good, really tasty and delicious. Love the chicken pot and cold noodle, huge portion and good service. Little bit spicy and not too much. It’s been ages that I found a such good restaurant in Richmond since most of restaurant serves with terrible attitude.

We ordered by a QR code. We had a spicy beef rib soup that comes with white radish. Ordered extra 4 side dishes, and free dessert sweet jelly for relieving the spice.

We had a nice lunch on Monday. Good food and great customer service. If you like spicy food, then it's a good place to try.

I’ve been craving the infamous Galbi Jjim from Sun Nong Dan in LA and stumbled upon this local gem. We ordered their original Korean fried chicken and cheese volcano beef spare rib pot. The pot didn’t come with as many fixings. Mainly beef, cheese and potatoes, but it hit the spot! Reasonable prices and the restaurant itself is clean and spacious.

First time eating Korean. Flavours were amazing. Not sure what authentic Korean food should look or taste like but I’m sure this was authentic. Like nothing I have ever eaten before.

What an awesome place! Very filling and rich food. I Love savoury foods and I’m looking forward to go with more people so we have more variety. I hope the quality of food stays consistent. The kimchi they serve is very good, it has a very natural taste without that fermentation after taste. The staff is very friendly. There is ample parking in this area.

Good service. Love the beef, very tender! Ordered the cheese pot with beef and oxtail, tastes very good! Medium pot is totally enough for two people.

went there today. they’ve changed their menu a lot. Some of the Korean cuisine remains. But they’ve added plenty of hot pot stuff. Ordered golden lamb soup. It was really good.
