Curry's Artists' Materials - Whitby

The Whitby Curry's is always filled with helpful and knowledgeable staff. I am not sure I have come across even one who is not also an artist. I have been going there for many years and was concerned when the previous manager retired, but Adam has been great and his staff continues to be kind, funny, and ready to find you what you are looking for, or answers you need. If you are unsure of art materials, or are exploring art, this is the place to go. They also have the best prices around.

Love Curry's. They have generally fair pricing and good staff, with lots of knowledge. My only criticism is when at the register they ask you if you hold any of the discount card options but they NEVER offer any information about getting one. There's a loyalty card, but I've never been offered it.

Staff here are so helpful. I came to buy a gift for someone who enjoys painting in watercolour. I know nothing about watercolour. The staff member asked me about budget and then helped me assemble a very lovely gift. Items here are on the expensive side compared to say Michael's, however there is a significant difference in quality.

My favourite art store. Excellent prices and expert advice. Employees are always willing to help. Great selection of paints and canvasses.

The art supplies at this store are of the highest quality but expensive. This location has art supplies you can find no where else. The store is clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Lots of free parking.
