Story

CrossFit is Constantly Varied, Functional exercises done at High intensity in a group or an individual. We do this by combining weightlifting, gymnastics, running, and rowing. It is scaled to meet your level of fitness. This gets us increased work capacity over broad time and modal domains. Which means you can do more in any amount of time at anything we want to do. It is "REAL FITNESS"

Looking for a great workout with great coaches and a great community?   Look no further.  Yes, I know that sounds cliché, but it’s true.  
The coaches take time to break down the movements and scale workouts to ensure everyone gets a challenging workout.  
What sets this box apart though is its community.   It is a family. Everyone pulls for each other and shares in PRs and Firsts!

You're going to see it in every review on here.  Awesome coaches, to awesome members, family, etc..  Life changing, second home and more.  There isn't anything, I don't think, I could say any different or better about this place.  Literally, it has changed my life for the better, end of story.  I only wish I would have joined earlier or the first time I thought about it.

CrossFit Edge is seriously one of the absolute best boxes in the area.  The programming is SMART!  You will lose weight, get stronger, feel better, be all around fitter at this gym.  Not only are the workouts safe, and make sense (I've been personal training and coaching in Oakland Cty myself for over 4 years - I'm very picky about these things!) the community and support system here are amazing.  GREAT people!!  Really good vibe here.  I highly recommend it.   I LOVE being a part of Edge!! :D #gains

I debated trying CrossFit for several months. I have younger (adult) nieces and nephews that have been doing crossfit for years and I was intrigued but didn't think I was at "that" level. I just turned 50 years old and I wasn't sure I could do this type of workout. I stopped in Edge two separate times before finally making a decision to try it the third time I stopped in. I am so completely surprised at how much I enjoy this community. I felt lost and confused at the beginning but all of the members were so encouraging and helpful, I stuck with it. I'm learning so many new things that I've never tried before and the sense of accomplishment that comes from making improvement is the biggest confidence builder I've ever had. The people that workout here are the friendliest, most helpful, sincere people I've ever trained with. We communicate outside of the BOX and it's so nice to have like minded friends. I've done some type of gym or fitness classes for the past 19 years and I've never been around such motivating people and I've never seen such noticeable results as I've seen in the 7 months I've been at Edge. Burt is always available to answer questions, offer tips and give encouragement. He always has programming prepared and never gets frustrated if I ask him to show me a technique over again. I started out going to the 9:15 am classes because I've  never been an early morning person and my husband is amazed that I've actually been participating in the 5:15 am class for about the last 4 months, consistently. I can't believe it myself but the people make you want to go back. This place makes you want to get in shape and everyone is there to help push you and support you to keep you from getting discouraged.

I love Crossfit Edge 94. Great coaches, members, and workouts. I've gone the past two summers and definitely notice an increase in my level of fitness. Highly recommend this gym to anyone that wants a better lifestyle.
