Hit up the booth during our Ossington Summer Send-Off event. I got the Korean Fried Chicken which was amazing. The sauce that came with it was ginger licking good. I literally licked my fingers at the end. The service was great. I liked that they had a few options. I only wish they served food later into the night. I went back again around 7pm and they sadly sold out. Glad I hit them up for lunch. Parking: Ossington has tons of parking on the street and paid parking lot at both ends of the strip.
Unfortunately, the ramen fell a bit short for this restaurant. We started with the gyoza and fries. We wanted both the chicken karaage and the korean fried chicken but apparently they had run out of chicken from an event last night. The gyoza was kinda soggy but had good flavour, while the fries had good texture and crunch. For ramen, I had the Gryphon. The broth was lacking the depth of flavour that I was looking for, which made me really sad. The pork chashu was so thinly sliced that it was so dry you can tell from the photo. I really don't have anything more to say about it. My friends got the spicy chicken tantan ramen and the Kaizen warrior. I didn't have those so I can't comment. Atmosphere was fun and the workers were very friendly.
Solid ramen experience. Their noodles are made fresh to order and their broth is constantly brewing in 100L pots creating a savory experience that warms and satisfies. The vegetarian broth is very hearty. Their soy infused egg is soft boiled to perfection and a must add to any order. Take home kits mean you can enjoy the experience at home. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are plentiful, flavorful and include broth, toppings and protein options.
The noodles and ramen eggs were perfectly cooked! The broth was rich, creamy and flavorful! We also loved their side dishes especially the brussels sprouts and edamame. Our ramen cravings were satisfied. We’ll surely be back
My most favourite Guelph restaurant finally opened a Toronto location! Love everything about Crafty Ramen, authentic but also very creative flavours, adorable decor, and the staff are always so nice.Food: 5/5
Top tier ramen! I enjoyed sitting right at the bar where you can observe the preparation of the food. The service was great and the ramen was flavourful and rich in flavour. I liked that each ramen is unique and it suits the interior and great environment they create inside. The decor was fun and unique and honestly I was really impressed at how sparkling clean the kitchen was. It reinforced the standard and quality of food they have at Crafty Ramen so on that note I would highly recommend and will visit again soon! The Gyoza were amazing and I'd also recommend adding the seasoned egg to your ramen.
I was super excited to this this place! I love their ramen and their concept however they were extremely salty and I couldn’t finish the ramen. I also tried their French fries and that was so good must try! If the salt situation is controlled honestly this would be the best ramen spot for me in the city!
Came here for lunch on a Sunday. The service was friendly and really quick although, we were the only patrons. We got the gyoza, vegan ramen, and fried brussel sports. All were delicious! The vegan ramen is rich and the broth is very flavourful. Music is good and vibey and the art and wall paintings are fun. Definitely will be coming back!
I’ve tried four different ramen already and all of them are fantastic. The marinated egg is such a great addition, the flavour and texture are just on point!! The chicken karaage and gyozas are also a great side… and the restaurant is so cozy, I love the mural on the side.
They have variety of vegan ramen options and lots of additional toppings to choose from. Ordered the Kaizen Warrior ramen with Sesame crusted tofu and veggie broth. Ramen was great but i find the broth little bit salty. Or maybe i wasn’t used to salty food any wayyy!! Place is great and it has that cafe vibe ambiance. Will visit again!
