This place is a must go for meat lovers. The food is divine and the prices are unbeatable. Service is great and the staff are polite and always around. We were a group of 10 and we enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The brisket platter is huge and enough for almost 2-3 people. I had pulled beef sandwich which I think was the best of its kind in the city. Will definitely go back and highly recommend.

Went here for dinner on a Friday night. It was very empty at 6pm when we got here but quickly filled up towards 630pm so I do recommend reservations especially for larger groups. For two people who don’t want leftovers, the two meat platter was perfect. You can easily share it because it comes with a lot of sides and add ons like Caesar salad, bread, mac n cheese, fries etc. I actually ordered an additional mac n cheese because i wanted to try one with meat and it came in the same size bowl as the mac n cheese you can get as a free side!  Therefore the platter is truly great value.  The only reason this is a 4/5 stars is because the brisket was rather dry and tough. The chicken and sides were really good though, the mac and cheese was super creamy. If I didn’t get the brisket I probably would’ve rated this a 5/5.  The service was quick and servers were extremely friendly. I definitely do recommend this place if you get their non-brisket items.

OMG!! If you love BBQ you must go to this place. - Friendly staff - Tasty food - Good quality at really reasonable prices - Amazing menu - Good combos to select If you wanna eat tons of tasty food for a fraction of the price this is your place!! FYI - it’s not a really big place so if you are going with more than 6 people you better give them a call. We loved everything, just the sausage wasn’t what we were expecting but it’s not their fault. We were hoping for something juicy but it was dry, I guess that’s how Arabic sausages are. Still an excellent place to go. Will definitely go back there! We ended up spending close to $70 and definitely worth it!

We absolutely love this gem in GTA. We always order the doubles. Love the beef and Mac and cheese. Mushroom side is realllly good. A place we often go back to. I find the prices are good. Have tried the burgers and was one of the best burgers we’ve had in Canada.

I recently dined at Backyard and was blown away by the quality of their brisket, short ribs, and burgers. The brisket was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, and the short ribs were fall-off-the-bone delicious. The burgers were also top-notch, with perfectly cooked patties and a variety of toppings to choose from. The service was great and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying and delicious meal.

Overall a great experience, the service was amazing, the only downside was every dish was just a little too salty, enough to notice.  Otherwise, tons of food for value, juicy and flavourful too.  We got the 3 for 2 people and it was more than enough.

Excellent halal southern BBQ place in downtown Toronto. It’s a small warehouse style restaurant, great ambiance. We tried their short ribs and back ribs platter for 3 which was good for my family of 4 2 adults and 2 kids. Both ribs were very tender and delicious. Their lemonades are ok, a bit on the sweeter side which needs some improvements. Overall it was a great dine out experience. Will definitely visit them again.

After reading the reviews ventured into Backyard Smokehouse. Certainly the pulled beef burger didn't disappoint. To my knowledge this is the only place that offers pulled beef in GTA, that too halal. Heard they are opening a branch in Mississauga, that would be great ‼

I have severely mixed feelings about this place, so here is my breakdown: We ordered the Doubles platter with brisket, sausages, mac and cheese, baked beans, and corn bread. The brisket was disappointing, not tender or juicy as expected. The sausages were downright dry. Quite the disappointment. The mac and cheese, however, was creamy and delicious, and the baked beans were really good. To top it off, the corn bread was super buttery and scrumptious. I also had the dolma, which was not great, but not too bad either. Our friends had the same platter, but with the chicken instead of the sausages and they seemed to enjoy it. The service was very friendly and the prices were great considering the portion sizes. However, it is a tiny place with barely any space between the tables, so if you are cautious about social distancing, then maybe this isn't the place for you. Overall, I'd give this place a 3.5.

Ok good, ok service, ok dining. Shared ribs with sides of curly fries and macaroni and cheese. Mac and cheese was disgusting and seemed to be made with cheese wiz. Curly fries were good. Beef ribs were nice but didn’t have much meat. Place is halal and doesn’t have a liquor license and doesn’t have outdoor dining. Not worth the money in my opinion. Will not return.
