THIS MIIGHT BE MY NEW RAMEN PLACE IN TOWN!!!! Came here during the soft opening and we were blown away by the quality of the food!!!! I got the clear Tokyo soy ramen and I love the flavour and texture of it!!!! I didn’t feel very heavy after the ramen which is exactly what I needed. The ambient was really nice too. Super cozy, great date place!
If you want to live an unforgettable experience, I strongly advise you to go there. If you love Ramen you won't regret it. The atmosphere is very friendly and the waiters are all nice.
Great food, service, and ambiance! I tried the creamy soy ramen, beef carpaccio, and drummettes. Each dish was soooo good. The ramen wasn’t too salty and was flavourful. I rarely ever get an all chicken broth with chicken ramen but I really enjoyed this one. I really wanted to order more of the drummettes and beef carpaccio because they were THAT good. Will definitely be returning!
Not your typical ramen spot… great vibes. We had the tuna tartare and beef carpaccio to share. Both so tasty! We also tried the clear and creamy shio ramen. Pretty good and I appreciate the variety in toppings clams, tender piece of melt in your mouth chicken…, but the apps stood out to me more. Service was so friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend for a night out.
We got both the creamy shoyu and creamy shio and neither of us could decide which we liked more because they were both just so good. Not sure how they marinated the meat but it was very unique, tender, and yummy. Great new ramen place to check out! Music choice was a little weird though lolFood: 5/5
Very special, loved it. Young lady serving tables is super friendly. What I ate was very good. Great craft cocktail, I will be back ! ! !Food: 5/5
I’m very happy I was recommended this ramen bar. The Shoyu and Shio Chintan are really good. I’m happy to repeat eat them, the Paitans are also very good if that’s your tempo. I love the bar, I have yet to get drunk at this bar but I’m excited to bring my friends for drinks. The atmosphere is great, 50s rockabilly music is the soundtrack of choice and the vibes are very chill. I love it. I’ve eaten here 3 times and I’m always happy, food is quality and the place is open till 2am, which for me coming after work is too perfect. Im excited to try more of the menu each time I come back. Much love to the staff and chef I will continue to recommend this place to ramen heads and Japanese food fans. Thank you Kaminari I hope your here to stay!!
Came into Kaminari during their soft opening during a recent trip to Toronto. The ramen resembled very much like the ones I had in Tokyo last year. I am a little bit of a purist when it comes to soups and of the 3 I tried, my favorite was the clear Tokyo shio which is a chicken broth base. Make sure to try the beef carpaccio and mackerel sando sandwiches, both were very memorable flavors. As for drinks, I had a “milk-washed” Negroni, they have Asahi on tap, and it was nice to see that they had non alcoholic options as well— as there were people in my party who did not drink. Service was fast and friendly, candles lit on tables adds to the nice ambiance. They also have an outdoor patio in the back which I’d imagine would be a cool place to dine during summer nights. Overall if you’re craving for Tokyo styled ramen, you should come and check them out.
Checking out the NEW Tokyo style ramen bar in Parkdale after a long day of work Kaminari Ramen Bar has a small menu but all items are packed with flavours! They also use quality ingredients and zero MSG : Can't wait to come back again ^^ Sabo Sando $14 • #mustorder for saba lovers. The grilled mackerel was nice and THICCC, and paired well with the sauce and shokupan, aka Japanese milk bread Creamy Soy $20 • I really enjoyed this ramen with the creamy broth! The cha-shus were cooked to perfection, very juicy and tender Clear Tokyo Shio $19.50 • My partner really liked this ramen with the clear chicken broth. It was also very light and delicious
I had creamy soy ramen. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice, and they seemed to use high-quality speakers for the music, creating a great sound. The ramen had a depth of flavor I've never experienced before, and of course it was delicious. I'm looking forward to going back for drinks next time.Food: 5/5
