Country Store

Thank you Ryan for your exceptional customer service. When everywhere else was either closed or out of my horses feed The Country Store came through for us even though it was closing time. I look forward to spending more time at The Country Store here soon! Very grateful 🐎

Nice store. Excellent selection of quality dogfoods. Victor, Taste of the Wild, Orijen to name a few.Prices are very reasonable as well.

I am an employee at the country store, and I see a few reviews talking about tax exemption or saying we are not an American business. I just want to set the matter straight so that future customers don't get the wrong idea from these other reviews. It is not law that our store has to have tax exemption for out of state customers, it is unfortunate that we don't, but that is a decision by the higher ups. We can't make that choice, but we do our best to meet the expectations of our customers. If customers from out of state would like tax exemption, you are more than welcome to contact our offices in Burlington and they can set you up with a tax exemption form, its just the stores themselves cannot do that. I do want to apologize to any out of state customers if this became an inconvenience in any way. Also there is a review here about an incident with a pit-bull that has many think that we don't like those kinds of dogs. The reviewers in a way have blown it out of proportion, because in truth our employees love all animals. The incident was a customer was nervous of a pit bull puppy and the owner of the dog didn't seem to understand that so one of our employees stepped in to try and help the customer who was a little nervous and things got a little heated. I don't want anyone to think we don't like certain animals, all pets are welcome to our store and we love them all.

Prices are fair, but they don't carry the food I feed my dog. Otherwise they're a good store. On a side note Allen G. the above reviewer, I'm sorry, but you're extremely ignorant and your stats are most likely getting their statistics from some news related media. You need to do your research. I've had two pit bulls through my life and one was a legitimate service dog. He had all his certificates and paperwork. He was extremely calm and loving. I'm sorry that you have such a view. I hope that you can some day experience their kindness and loving nature.
