One of the busiest Costcos I’ve ever been at. There is so much traffic, in the parking and in the building itself. I wish there was traffic control to help people navigate better.nnLineups will accumulate really quickly. You need to be here right at opening. I came here 20mins after opening, spent 25 minutes shopping and the line up was already 200 ft long

Very disappointing experience at Downsview Costco today.nnI had 59 items across only 7 products and waited over 5 minutes in the self-checkout line after being directed there by Costco staff. Once I reached the checkout area, an employee named Maria suddenly told me I had to move to a regular checkout lane.nnThe issue wasn't the policy—it was the complete lack of communication. If customers with larger purchases cannot use self-checkout, they should be informed before they spend time waiting in line. Staff were actively directing customers, yet nobody mentioned this until I had already reached the front.nnWhen I politely explained this, Maria repeatedly interrupted me, dismissed my concerns, and continued arguing even after a supervisor approved my transaction. The situation escalated further when she threw one of my items into my cart and walked away. When I asked for her name, she ignored me, and even the supervisor initially hesitated to provide it.nnCustomers are not expected to know every Costco checkout rule. Costco employees are expected to communicate policies clearly and treat customers with professionalism and respect.nnThis was one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I have had at Costco.

Our visit to Costco Wholesale was fantastic! We did our shopping and, at the end, took the chance to enjoy a delicious hot dog. My mother-in-law had her first taste of authentic Canadian poutine, and she loved it! We went with the couple we are staying with and their daughter, making it a great family outing. A perfect mix of shopping and good food!

Never seen any costco like this. I am a very regular costco shopper once a week but at Richmond hill location , but this location was soooo different.nShells, fridges ,... were empty , very messy .

The happiest chaos known to humankind. Walked in for paper towels, left $300 poorer, holding a kayak, a chicken, and enough snacks to survive the apocalypse. Samples are five-star Michelin when you’re hungry enough, and that $1.50 hot dog? A national treasure.nIf you don’t love Costco, you don’t love life.
