Cosmopolitan Hair and Spa

Joy welcomed me with warmth as soon as I walked into her salon and lucky me: she was my hair stylist. She listen well and I could feel her care for me - her costumer. I loved her attitude, friendly personality, professionalism and her knowing on how hair behaves. As she kept using different techniques I began to feel that she's a true artist at heart. She cuts and style hair with her energy, love, her all body and heart. I'm super picky about my hair as most women probably are, and I left my hair grow for years because no one really impressed me with a good cut. My hair now looks absolutely amazing, it bounces and behaves, is shinny, more healthy looking and the cut is absolutely stunning. I feel rich and famous, or like I should be in a hair commercial. Thank you Joy for making this experience so positive, I'm so glad I found you.

I'm new in the area and was looking for a new salon since my former one is in Indiana. It was a cute place and the people were friendly, but the stylist I had didn't give me the style I wanted and its uneven in the back. It's literally a straight bob when I asked for a bob that was shorter in back and longer in front. I even showed her several pictures. It was $65 for the cut without a wash (literally the only salon that has never washed my hair). Its just an "eh" cut and I will keep it in a pony tail until I can find someone to fix it. This place wasn't for me, I'm not interested in her trying to fix it, I will just keep looking.

I have been to 12 other hair stylist over the past 6 years. I have only had 2 good haircuts. One in Iowa and one here. My head is not the easiest to cut I have a bad cowlick in the back of my hair. Erika was able to trim making my hair look good. Also she informed me on how my hair will grow out and what I should aim for on the next hair cut. She knew I was a student and didn't push me for a shampooing. Very humble as well as experienced.
